I got a REFUND of something I had paid for with MY OWN MONEY and had not received. How is that in anyway the same??
Tesco are compensating you for the 3 or 4 minutes it took you to place an order, as that's all they took from you ?
Sorry, but durh!:cool:0 -

Because you're still making a profit out of a tesco mistake - just the same as others are that have received the vouchers! Durh!!A home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -

Tesco error?! The man on the phone said to me refund x4 of £3.49 so it had nothing to do with me lol! I haven't phoned 'if you don't give me £5 more i'm gonna ring your manager, my local store, blah blah blah' (not that you've done that - i'm just being dramatic:cool:0 -
Huge thanks to the OP, went to all local stores and none in stock, however ordered online and have just had delivery of 480 pouches of substituted food - all Whiskas flavours my cat loves - Price match refund of £60.33!!
No special K bars delivered but I'm not complaining! :-)
Thanks again!0 -
Just cancelled my order, can pickup the rest of the stuff I ordered in the shop tomorrowBoiler pot £30.92/£10000

Well good luck I say to those of you who were offered vouchers - no-one is going to refuse them are they?
Being refunded back the wrong amount is a different matter - as you know you have been overpaid - its just like getting change for £20 when you know you paid £10.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
I ordered a box online for delivery tomorrow alongside reg shopping, got call at 9pm saying it is an error, and so they have cancelled the order, anyone else have this?0

Right - don't know how accurate this info is I've just been given.
Rang to say I was 48 pouches short - chap said it was a mistake on the website and it would refund me the price of £3.49 - I said I'd rather have the pouches but he said they'd been withdrawn as mistake on webiste. I sais people were buying them at that price in stores as well but he said that was an error too and they were busy ringing round people now who had orders pending to cancel them - so looks as though some of us got in just in time - thanks OP - my cats will be happy for a while.
Ah, that would explain my cancelled order, my poor moggy0 -
My order was delivered today and I've got no idea what they've done or how they've worked it out and I don't think they have either...
I ordered 10 packs, I got:
3 x Felix 48 pack for £14.96 (price match refund £22.66)
15 x Whiskas Market produce 12 packs for @18.06 (price match refund £26.91)
1 x Whiskas meat 12 pack 0.94p (price match refund £1.39)
1 x Whiskas poultry 12 pack (price match refund £1.39)
so by my reckoning I am 11 x (12 sachet) packs short for my £34.90.
I rang them and the girl insisted it had been a mistake in pricing, not a promotional offer, but had no idea how they'd arrived at the prices they charged and in the end I hung up to go off and get a calculator, no refund or extra boxes offered but...
I've still effectively got £104.30 worth of cat food (only £75.55 worth if you take into account the 3 for 2 offer at Tesco on the 12 packs and the fact I'd have bought the Felix at Asda where it's only £12 for the big pack) for £34.90 so still an absolute bargain so thanks again, OPMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100
