HSBC payout times...

Hi just a quick update my settlement was paid into my account today ( letter posted to hsbc on 8th sept). Not much consolation to those who are still waiting but i sincerely hope everyones money arrives in their accounts sooner rather than later (especially you Russabbott, hopefully in time for daughters b/day)

It's good that they paid you within the 10 working days.

Did you ask for it to be paid into a hsbc account ?
I'm asking because I think the delay some are having is down to the ppi payment being put into other banks or some of it being used to pay off loan/credit card debts etc.

Got it paid into a co-op account because I don't have any HSBC ones anymore. I checked yesterday morning and it was not in, then was at cash point at lunch time and realised my balance was a bit higher than usual.

Going to pay off my overdraft and then will officially be debt free except for my mortgage.:T

NI you are right apparntly they overlooked the fact that i owed them money until i told them
Went into branch no joy there mind you they never seem to know what to do
Called complaints dept told them i wasnt prepared to wait for a new letter as this was not my fault so they stated they would do it all there end and pay metropolitan off for me and then pay the balance into my Barclays acct
No I used was regulated sales complaints 023 8072 3838

just checked my online banking no money in yet BUT my loan has gone so fingers crossed my have some more news later, looks like things are starting to move
