After a nightmare experience with YODEL I did some research online and found the following link. The page has an email address and amazingly my parcel was finally delivered on the same day following my email! Give it a go: https:// uk.trustpilot.com/review/yodel.co. uk
"If you require assistance with a parcel please email your name, address and parcel number to social.media@sm.myyodel.co.uk and our team will email you back."0 -

I would suggest that was a coincidence.0 -

Thank you! finally, an email address to contact
Having a total nightmare with Yodel. Almost impossible to get through to customer services, when you do they are clueless and cannot really help. And when you use their new text service, it took 12 hours to respond - so much for their 20 - 30 minutes. And all the agent did was repeat the status then hoped I had a nice week.
So eventually having "lost" it, they found my parcel and I was able to arrange for collection. Have an email saying they will hold it until Tuesday. Tonight's status shows "Customer refused delivery" and its being returned to the sender. As if after 7 days I would refuse a delivery I have been waiting for - and very difficult since it was delivered while I was at work. Previous 2 delivery attempts have been blatant lies - was in both times, no-one called, no-one left a card.
I am going to try tomorrow at the service centre but I am not hopeful that they haven't already f**ked up and sent it back despite flagging on their system I was going to collect. What kind of system do they have where you arrange for collection, they tell you that you have 5 days to collect it but because you don't pick it up the next day they send it back? Oh wait, silly me, they don't have any kind of system other than total chaos.
This is without question the worst delivery experience ever for me. I will never again buy with any online supplier that uses them. Never had a problem with any other courier company finding my address - only Yodel employees seem unable to be able to find me
If tomorrow fails I will try the email address but I suspect by then it will be too late and I will be having to deal with the supplier about a refund.0 -
Why haven't your discussed this with the sender? It is their responsibility to chase the courier, not yours. It would have been dealt with a lot quicker if they had instigated any investigations.0

Here's an email address I came across after being sent a shoddy letter of an apology after a 4 day escapade of non deliveries, lies and just all round hassle, I'm not letting it go until I feel justly compensated, by far the worst courier service ever which is is evident across the Internet!!!0 -

Trust me, you'll get nowhere with Yodel... Even the management working for them are running for the hills0 -
Yodel really must be the absolute pits in the courier industry.
Not for the first time they have been 'unable to access your address.' This seems to be their standard operating procedure... A euphemism for, 'We couldn't give a rat's !!!! and knocked off early.'
Not my choice to deliver items I have bought; not much control over that. I'd 'never' choose them to deliver parcels for me.0 -
After my own struggles with Yodel this is what I found out - they 'card' an address on their scanner even if they haven't attempted a delivery and usually because they run out of time. There's no option (from what I've been told) to log anything other than 'delivered' or 'not delivered'. That means if you've been told that a card has been left it's perfectly possible for it not to be true.
In my area Yodel sub-contract to a local courier. As we are very rural it's often the case that the drivers can't get round everyone in their delivery schedule.
In my case I managed to arrange to collect the parcel at their local depot - the only problem was that the email confirming this gave me an address which they had vacated about five years previously and was about three miles away from the proper depot.
There was a flurry of irate letters from me to them and I eventually was sent a £20.00 gift voucher.0 -
My neighbour recently arranged a pickup by Yodel. It was arranged for the morning ... eventually she had to go out (around 4PM) to collect the kids from school so she left a note on her front door saying she'd be back shortly.
When I got home around 6PM I found a Missed Collection note through MY door, timed around 1.30PM, from Yodel addressed to HER name. (We have different house numbers, our numbers are prominently displayed, she also has a plaque next to her front door with her surname on it. They STILL went to the wrong address).
I would call them incompetent but they're not even that good.0 -
Don't worry. Nessun Dorma will be along soon to tell you all that it is your fault.0
