Emailed this one Elaine.Boyle@yodel.co.uk just got i am not in

Emailed this one customercare@vx.yodel.co.uk response by phone in 2 hours. Passed onto depot who rung me 10 mins later. Profuse apologies. Seemed genuinely surprised. Plenty of completely unacceptable behaviour. Believed them but they need to sort the drivers out. He was subcontractor.

What has the assumed ethnicity of the courier got to do with this?

Surely, after missing the first ten or so deliveries, you might have gone and looked?

    They are all subcontractors.
  • Here's a joke: I saw a Yodel van once.
    That's it.

I've had experience with Yodel when l was running a business and trying to get them to, you know, collect, which was very hit and miss and therefore my entire business was jeopardised.

Also had experience as a customer, usually okay as l recall, but once had a delivery by what l would only describe as a Yardie gangster.

Who benefits from Yodel being terrible, l can't imagine.
  • Btw, the first time said gangster "tried to deliver", l was in the house. I didn't hear any knocks and should have done so had any been made, given the stated time on the card.

So anyway, who benefits from Yodel being terrible, l can't imagine.

I also found the same thing - test booking of 10 parcels, driver took 3 days to actually turn up. Excellent service. :rotfl:

What does a "Yardie Gangster" look like?

    ????????????

The above makes no sense whatsoever.
  • I think Nessun Dorma must work for Yodel. Why should this customer have to keep going out into an alley to see if their parcel is there? We have a similar problem. Our house is at the end of a 3/4 mile track. Despite complaining many times to Yodel their knuckle-dragging driver still chucks any parcels over the gate down y the road instead of bringing it to the house.

We will no longer buy from any company that uses Yodel. They really are the pits.
