Complete Newbie to the forum although I have been receiving and acting, successfully, on the news posts for a while. Lovin the site!

Re the above products, surely I can´t be the only (self confessed) IDIOT to have been sucked into this ¨free trial¨ that turned out to cost 75 quid a month? Haved tried various searches but can find no reference? I must be doing something wrong and desperate to get to get out of this deal now! Please, please help:cool:

Hi there, I appear to have been conned too. I tried to call their customer services departments and neither phone number is in use. I've sent e. mails asking for an urgent reply and received one back saying they would deal with it when they can. Very annoyed, don't know if it would be worth reporting to the police?
  • Thanks to this site I have managed to get out of this scam. I ordered Perfect Radiance on 24/12 but began to 'smell a rat' when I was about to sign up for the Revitaderm. I emailed them within minutes, telling them I did not wish to trial the product, not to send it, or charge me. They sent a cancellation email saying my account was cancelled, I would receive no further products and hoped I would enjoy the trial product when I received it.
I got onto my bank immediately, when a debit went through for £2.95 on 29/12, they were very helpful and said they would instigate a chargeback. In the meantime, I emailed Perfect Radiance, told them they had no right to charge this money and that I had been in contact with the fraud dept of my bank.
I have received a refund of £2.95 today, 5/01. Have also received confirmation from bank, chargeback analyst, which states I should not receive any more debits from Perfect Radaince.
I hope this is an end to all of this worry but will still be checking my account every day for some time.
I think my advice to everyone, is, act as quickly as you can and request you bank to instigate a chargeback on any amounts you dispute. Also, they have not sent the trial product to date, so I hope that is the end of it. Good luck to all of you, who have been taken in by this scam. I will certainly be more wary in the future, that's for sure.
  • hi people
the number is the same as (magicowl) posted !! 08081683685 from the uk...............i think its a bit of good news, i got through on this number today at 1.45 and i told them i wanted to cancell my subscription, they offered me a half price trial and i said NO!! i told them that their website was underhand and cleverly worded...she then went in to the terms and conditions wich i read after purchase and not before as it was not clearly visible, i told her that she had breached her contract by taking money early and that the page where i began to order said it was a free trial ! i then proceeded to tell her that if she didnt give me a refund that i was going to tell the FSC IN the USA and that i was reporting them to trading standards for missleading people and i told her i was having them investigated if they refused ! she went and had a word with her manager and issued me a refund ! i myself ordered both creams that were being advertised to work with one and other, she refunded me for both ? that means both revitaderm and perfect radiance are the same company !! im now waiting to see if it goes back into my account ,i was told to wait about 4-5 days, i was a little worried as i had cancelled my bank card due to sheer panic but after having a word with my bank they said the money can get in my accoutn if they send it . i will keep you posted if i do indeed get my money back ... go go go its worth a try .....and thankyou magicowl for the number !!:j

Hi all, have just checked my bank account (VISA) and the £74.95 was credited to my account on 4.01.12. It was worth all the threats etc that I made about suing them and reporting to Trading Standards - they seemed to back off. Keep going I'm sure you'll have a result. I wish you all the very best of luck with this bunch of scammers. XX
  • I too got caught up in this scam before Christmas, when my vigilant husband noticed an amount of £74.95 from a foreign bank on our bank statement. Having read all the helpful advice on here I immediately cancelled my bank card. I then rang the Revitaderm number and added a 0 to it so this is the number I dialled 0808 1787320 from UK and immediately got through to a call centre which is in the Phillippines although the products are shipped from Edinburgh.
They cancelled both the Perfect Radiance and Revitaderm but because I was over the cancellation period with the Revitaderm they said they had shipped a new batch and that I would have to wait to receive it, then send it back to them and only then would I get a refund. I forgot to ask them for the cancellation number and so I had to ri:)ng back. I was given the 2 cancellation codes and when I queried when they had shipped the product they said they hadn't done so yet! So I then asked for an immediate refund and I sent an email to both product emails and said I would expect a refund in the 5 working days they had specified on the phone otherwise I would be advising the FTC. They sent confirmation emails with the cancellations and another one saying I would receive a refund. I had to chase them again as I did not receive the refund in the 5 working days however it has appeared in my bank today which is about 7 working days. So it is worth persevering and it is possible to get a refund if you keep on at them. I am very relieved and hope you can get the same results. I found a fraud helpline you can phone if you can't get results 0300 1232040 or consumer direct 0845 4040506. I hope this is helpful.

I had this problem as the numbers given begin +44 808 but you have to call 08081683685 (sorry if you've already tried this) I got through straight away at 10.30 pm. It was really busy during the day.
    ...
Hope you get through soon. Good luck x

I think the confusing thing about the phone numbers is that you expect this to be a UK number, but it's not necessarily.

From Australia, I tried dialling the number I was sent in my email as a UK number, putting 0011(to get out from Oz) and 44 (for the UK) in front of the number. That didn't work, so I tried just 0011 in front of and it worked - but my hubby assures me that it is a US number. So these people are any and everywhere. A few alternatives might need to be tried before you succeed.
  • right my mum has had email confirmation that the perfect radiance account is closed and no more payments will be taken. so this will cover the bank if we have problems hopefully.

Only problem now is the Juvenue/juveneu company who i cant find contact details for. I though it was the same company but it appears im wrong.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Paul, Have you tried this number
020 3514 1389? This is a UK no. I found it in a post compaining about the company. Hope it works for you.
  • Can't thank you all enough for these posts. I was shocked to see £74.95 come out of my account recently as had emailed and called to cancel this 'wonder product' with very little success.

My bank told me to email and say they had 15 days to return the money and request a letter confirming this. If the money was not refunded they would put me through to the Fraud Department..which I did today before reading all your wonderful accounts.

Then I started to panic and aged another 15 years, wrinkles getting increasingly deeper, before calling my bank back and asking for the disputes department as I was not prepared to wait 15 days and have more money plundered from my account.

I spoke , at length, with a lovely man who said he would stop any further payments for both products and also refund what has come out. I don't think he would have done this if I hadn't stated that I had seen this site and many people were experiencing the same brick wall as me.

It's worth trying your banks dispute department and explaining all this. They were great and I am sooo relieved. I will wait to see if this has been successful.
thanks for all the assistance and information in all your posts

  • I also got caught in this when I was looking for a particular product online. I clicked on a link that claimed to be the Independant newspaper but when I have looked back it is obviously a redirected link to a fake site. Like others here there had been no terms and conditions on the webpage.

Thankfully once I had signed up I was a bit suspiscious so I did a bit of searching and came across this forum - thank you all for your posts.

I followed much of the advise here and the day after I signed up called my credit card company and explained the situation. They said that the delivery charge (£2.79) had been deducted but that they would block any other transactions from this company.

I then called the Perfect Radiance people to request a cancellation - I called this number +44 (808) 168 3685 at 8.30am UK time and got through straight away to a very helpful woman who offered me all sorts of 50% offers but I was firm in saying that I wanted the contract cancelled.

She gave me a cancellation reference (the first 5 letters of the order number) which I then emailed to them to confirm. 24 hours later I received a cancellation confirmation email from the company as well. I haven't received my 'free sample' and don't expect to but hopefully that is the end of it.

Just so everyone knows the woman I spoke to manages both Revitaderm and Perfect Radiance so if you have ordered both you should be able to cancel both in one call.

Good luck everyone - I hope you all get your money back.
