Well @sda was an experience... BTW the scrooge in the above post is ME. :rotfl: I've become such a tight wad, if it's gone up to much it's off the list or downgraded. I'm now on shop own crackers cause jacobs have gone up to high for my liking.
anywhoo I went with my usual £200 budget in my head. This is my in head budget for every 2 weeks but it's normally about 160 or less dependant on how much price tutting I do.Bare in mind this is a 3 week shop, not including the usual bread and milk we get as we go along. Well I got to the end of the food aisles, just before the freezers and i had an over full trolley and bread in my hand as no where to put it, so I thought off I go to checkout if I die from the shock of it all, the freezer can wait for a week or so....but it was only £142
:D
Including my 10 bottles of Impulse shower gel for 38p (I'm SOOOOO impressed with this bargain):D
This included meals for hubbies dinner, packed lunches, fresh meat for teas, cereal (about 14 boxes ), milk, washing power etc, etc..... I was well impressed, so after bobbing it all in the car, off I went back in for freezer stuff (and 10 more bottles of the impulse shower gel bargain) this lot only cost me just over £37.
I'm therefore still under my £200 budget :T
Some of it has been stashed away from the kids (biscuits, cereal - my lot eat LOADS, and crisps) so that it lasts but I think I did really well. Or at least I will do if I manage to get through the 3 weeks. (may need a little top up near the end)You have to start to finish.

Great updates.
I spent about £75 this week, which is good for us, but going to try and get it lower for next week.
Going to check out the pound stores this week too for toiletries.
Have a great weekend!0 -
Well I went to Tescos no stickers on the Barbie stuff but I did get 2 sets of straighteners that were originally £49.95 on the website reduced to £24.95 for only £5!!!!!
Bargain. Right off to bed after updating my list as I'm in work tomorrow. You have to start to finish.

Well had a big savings day yesterday even though I spent. Today I spent again...treated myself to a Neros. First in 2 weeks and boy it was good. I'm back on the wagon again now though.
Oh and using the Quidco app I got paid 45p for just going into work and checking into 2 shops (one i work in and one across the way) :rotfl: Pity there is a limit on the amount of times I can check in.
Right off to check on eBay, I've got a batch of stuff finishing tonight that's going to net over £100, I do need to order my DD1's birthday present out of it too.You have to start to finish.

Well today was a spending day. 2 pairs of converse later, or £80 later....I don't know what sounds worse.
In my defence when I sold of the girls old pairs that no longer fit them I did say that with the eBay money I'd made I'd get them a new pair....which I've managed to put off for over a month, but today I had to cough up. It went on the CC due to only having enough for getting though the next few weeks in the bank so I'd better update my sig and find some things to list on eBay to make up for it..You have to start to finish.

In a bid to tackle the amount spent today, albeit required I have done another batch of listings for eBay. At least then I feel as though I'm tackling the problem.
As a bad thing I've had someone want to return an item as they say it doesn't work.Ah well, onwards and upwards.
You have to start to finish.

Thank you again. I need to keep telling myself I'm doing well, but I'm an impatient so and so...:rotfl:
The tesco stuff was just on the shelf at £5, only 3 left when I got there, one when I left. I'm not sure why the website is so much dearer. You have to start to finish.

Well we've just got the total from HFC and it's about what we thought. Lots of eBay stuff has just finished so once I've packed it all up and ordered DD1's birthday present the rest will be on it's way to the bank. Suppose I'd better move my bum and start that happening. You have to start to finish.
