Well work is done. How tedious was that, gotta hate stock take day. Earned some money doing it though :T
Right I've got to pick the kids up in about 45mins, just had my lunch so I might try and get 1 or 2 things done of my list before the chaos of 4 kids starts. (lets hope they're not as grumpy with each other as yesterday.:mad:)You have to start to finish.

VSP Challenge #69: £18.120 -
Just added things up....some don't look to bad, and we should be able to clear some debts off quite quickly as those with the higher interest are the lower amount, but it's still not nice added up. I'm sooooo glad we had our LBM before getting in even more debt. (this isn't including a small amount to MIL which will be paid off this month/next) or the loan my SIL got for us to buy our current car (lower interest rate than we'd get) - that is being paid every month and if it's not done by the time we've cleared what we have it will be a short time after.
Credit Card: £217 (24.89%)
HFC: Approx £360 (22.44%)
Hitachi Capital: Approx £300 (19.9%)
Creation: Approx £670 (19.9%)
Barclays: Approx: £887 (14.8%)
Black Horse: Approx: £7,700(13.9%)
Couch: £725.75 (0%),
HFC: £187 (0%)
Total: £11,046.75
A couple of these I've calculated with interest top heavy (from paperwork), though they're not. Just OH is sick of me asking him to phone companies for updates so I'm sticking to getting him phoning the one we're tackling/about to; rather than all.You have to start to finish.

Hi, Aiming High!
Just wondered if you had used the side What's the Cost? It's soooo useful! You tap in all your debts and the APR for each one and it gives you a breakdown of which ones and how much to pay.0 -

Thank you, I'm hoping I don't loose it to soon, or use the CC for christmas, but only time will tell.
Quidco will be becoming my best friend for ANY shopping that I let myself do, and of course for renewals of any insurances etc. Surveys are doing my head in, but I WILL see a payout, depending on how long it takes with each site will determine wether I dump them soon after. :cool:
Subscribe away, I love a good natter with all.Keentobedebtfree wrote: »Hi, Aiming High!

I have something similar called debt buster, I just got a bit lax with it when we got current totals a while back, so at the moment I'm using it for my current one to tackle (which is the highest APR) as we move on to the next we check overpaying makes a difference before we start on that.
Thank you for the info though.savingholmes wrote: »Well done on your progress to date

Right well it's OH's payday. :T
I don't think we'll have anything/much left over for paying extras on debts or christmas shopping as I'm on a 5 week month so this has got to last us 3 weeks.
However I have paid the £14.23 we had left in the bank last night on the CC so it's something (definitely more than normal), I've also done my virtual sealed pot challenge and moved that over, this saved our bacon the other day when we were shorter than thought, which I've also put back - it's like our personal payday loan. :rotfl:
eBay is of course carrying on (bids going up as I type) and this will be our debt busting/christmas pot. Did I mention my 2 eldest DDs have birthdays before christmas :eek: I need to order a birthday present from some of the eBay funds as well as squirrelling some away for OH's christmas present (paypal is the only none shared money place so I can be sneaky), but even if it's small amounts at a time that CC WILL go down.
Right I suppose I'd better get moving to @sda, it's going to be a big one. Budget is £200 as normal....lets see if I can still do it for lower (last week was £120 but I don't expect that for a 3 week shop again)You have to start to finish.

Right list time. MIL isn't up to making @sda a day out so it is just going to be a todo. Lets see how much I can get done today if I move my rear.
* [STRIKE]Post eBay parcels[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]@sda[/STRIKE] - yeah I know, was going to do it half an hour ago, but another brew called. :cool:
* [STRIKE]Clean our room & wash bedding[/STRIKE]
* [STRIKE]Clean Kids rooms[/STRIKE] & wash bedding
* [STRIKE]Hoover upstairs[/STRIKE]
Hubby has said he'll do the rest of the cleaning with the kids tomorrow while I'm at work.Well he said they'd do it all but I want to get some done for my own sanity.
* Start shredding old paperwork. (this isn't urgent)
* Find something to list on eBay (I don't want it to stop as it's our only spare income at the moment)
* Cancel credit reports as I now have the free one to keep checking.
I think that's it. Right finish this brew then get ready for @sda and strip our bed so it can wash while I'm out.
On a plus side little kids are at clubs today so I don't have to pick them up til 4.30. :TYou have to start to finish.
