Thanks for spelling it out. I guess I'll check again at end of February after last Friday.

    I'd love an offer.

    Hi

I wanted to know if it is possible to increase your overdraft without an credit search being perfomred on you. I know you were able to increase before as you were guranteed a limit.

But now they have changed the system I am not not if you can still do this. Does anyone know if they still do pre approved increases without credit search?

Yes they do - They know enough about your financial standing without the need to credit search.

    Hi

I wanted to then now How would you found out the maximum amount that you will be able to get in the preapproved limt?

As before if you put in a higher limit than the guarenteed limit it will tell you the maximum amount they will allow you to have?

keep guessing. I start by asking for 100 then increase steadily till it says no more. They update things after they update the credit agencie I think because last week it say no to my request but last night it let me add 1000 to my overdrafts. I start at 100 then went 500 then 750 then 1000 then 1100 but system says no.

so my overdraft is now at 2500

Can I just ask if some posters who have more than 1 current account.Silver or Gold with Bank of Scotland did you receive a cheque book for each current account? I have 3 current accounts but can only have 1 cheque book! I know a lot of people don't use cheque books much but I'm a person who does!

No they seem to give just one book. I also have 3 accounts and have one book. I was told to write in if I wanted additional books.

Thanks auto-man yes I have just the one cheque book, I've read because it's seen as a credit product. But surely now the cheque guarantee system has finished it can't be that risky. No funds in your account they would just bounce the cheque!
