That is such a beautiful name, especially when I noticed another poster mentioned it means 'star'. How is it pronounced? Well we are no closer to deciding unfortunately. DH has had a quiet day at work and has been googling baby name lists too. So we now have several lists to battle through :rotfl:.
This thread has been really useful as it has helped me see the benefits and pitfulls of names. Am going to be careful to choose names that will work well for when the girls are adults as well as little kids.
Ive even borrowed the class lists from our new year 3 intake at work. I am a teacher. That has given me around 90 girls names to contemplate. Though some are quite bizarre. One of the kids in my class turns out be a girl, when going by her name alone I thought it was a boy. She was a late intake due to an appeal. Came as a bit of a surprise I can tell you.0 -
Gracie is gorgeous, i love it. My 2 are Molly and Evie, I think Evie would go really well xxxMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000

The name Seren is pronounced Serren - phonetically its Seh ren! that help?
er - and dont forget to think how the Initials look! Diana Dora Taylor might sound good - but the initials are DDT!
jeez - names are a minefield! I am lucky and my kids like their names - good welsh kids with welsh names! and they were unique in their class. in my daughters case - in the whole school! wouldnt happen today as her name is becoming more common and so are the boys names. They were named for Welsh Princes - but their names are now being used more often. I welcome that as its a shame when names die out.0 -
How about Shaz and Trace
I had an aunty called Grace, I also like Jane (another auntie!) My mam was called Ellen, I also like Daisy, Rhiannon, Stephanie, Jessica. Even if the names don't immediately "go" together, they'll soon grow into them

They are beautiful names pp, absolutely lovely. DH has come up with some pretty names today for the girls too, which we are considering. He is so excited about the prospect of having two little 'daddys girls'.0

I really, really like Jane too, it's so simple but strong, I'd definitley consider it if I were to have another girl.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
