What if you choose a 'common/popular' name but it has nothing to do with the popularity of it at the time?
I chose my sons name because it was my Grandad's name.
I couldn't have give a toss whether there were 1 or 41 kids in the same street or school as him with the same name.
It had nothing to do with imagination at all.

Well, how nice of you to call my opinion ridiculous. You may not be "common", but you're not exactly charming either.
Has it crossed your mind that maybe they choose those names because...heaven forbid...they like them? Or does refusing to conform for the sake of it make you better than those people somehow?0 -
