I hope you've chosen lir's suggestion of Grace and Honor. Gorgeous, and Gracie and Honey is too cute! It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

I like Emily & Grace or Grace & Hope the best, don't like Honor personally. Congratulations on the pregnancy! The only thing i'd consider is as someone else says, if a Grace ends up a tomboy or not too graceful, my Mum wanted to name me Heidi & thank goddddd she got a no from my Dad, it'd be the worst name possible for me!0

I think you've named most of DD's school year there, glad to say DD is NOT on that list!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I wanted to call my daughter Emily Grace, however our surname begins with a G and her initials would have been EGG, so we dropped Grace for something else. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Hope & Grace
(was very funny american tv show ages ago but I think they match rather well!)I wish I would take my own advice!0 -
My daughter's a Grace (we do call her Gracie too) - her middle name is Elizabeth...another traditional name that I love. Let us know what names you decide! We were lucky that we always knew we'd have the name Grace (although did briefly toy with the idea of Elizabeth Grace..)
With DS2 we had decided on a couple of names...but when he was born, we just decided he was something different altogether, the other names just didn't 'suit.':rotfl:20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

I love all the old fashoined names on this thread. My daughter is Seren Eliza. She's the only Seren at nursery, compared to when my son Joshua started, he was one of four Joshuas!Proud to be dealing with my debts0

my youngest gd is called Grace-Ann, but more commonly known as Griz (short for Grizzleass!)
and a less graceful child would be hard to imagine!
But I do love oldfashioned names!
some of my favourites - culled from my family history are
Ellen
Eliza
Emily
Letitia
Caroline
Lydia
and there were a multitude of Mary-Annes!
my own nans name was Phyllis shortened to Phyl. as she was such a lovely person (and a great beauty in her youth) I love the name to bits and wish my mum had given me that name and not her second name!0 -
