The technical term is a semi detached house! It's not an L shape at all, but even if it was why would that put anyone off? No wonder I've not had any interest if everyone is that fussy.
The curtains and cushions match too...

I did not say your house was an L shape - I said the way it is connected to next door makes yours and next door like a L shape. Or like a right angle may be a better description. Personally, I don't like those types of houses because (and the following comments are relevant to the area I live):

    1) they tend to be long and narrow, i.e one room is the whole width of the house (I cant see this as there is no floor plan)
    2) They dont look that appealing from the front, especially like yours where its to the side
    3) One of the two houses joined together tends to have most of their garden to the front or side of the property.

Buying a house is a HUGE decision and when it is a buyers market, of course people will be fussy. Unless yours is the only house for sale in your postcode.

Like I said, its a tidy, spacious house but you've asked for reasons why it may NOT be getting viewings or selling :)

Hmm not sure - maybe you need .html at end too. Sorry.

But if you search for High Shincliffe, Durham it is the one for sale at £199,950 on Ancroft Garth.

Wow, I love your kitchen, and the bathroom and garden look fab too. I would agree with the comments about the bunk bed it does make it look like a single. Hope you get some viewings soon.

Thanks! EA came round yesterday to take a new photo of the 2nd bedroom with two single beds in, it's really strange as with the beds side by side there is hardly any floor space but the room looks bigger plus it makes it more obvious to anyone looking at the pictures that it is a double/twin room, so thanks to everyone who suggested that.
