Thanks Kevin, but it's PAYG I am after for my mum, she can't be doing with having to send back copies of bills to reclaim money at various time points.Kevshome wrote:Hi Clive, check out my response to Martins tips, you can get one for free with minutes and text and a top model phone too. You have to pay for it but you get all your money back.
Cheers

Seems to be discontinued now, doesn't it ?0 -
Hi,
I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. They were virtually paying you to take it off their hands. For me. I'm not bothered that it can't be unlocked. My present sim card is O2 and their call charges are 35p per minute as opposed to Virgins 15p per minute for the first 3 and then goes to 5p and their texts are cheaper too, so although I will have to tell people that I have a new number, it will work out cheaper for me. I hope you get fixed up jeanssis. Regards - sally0 -
Hi Sally,
JUST as I was thinking exactly the same as you said. O2 is 35p/min as opposed to Virgin's 15p/min for first FIVE mins, not 3 each day then only 5p/min, with only 3p/min to other Virgins. s**t....... !
Hubby said to order it then I saw it couldn't be unblocked & panicked.

Roadhog & TheLoft..
HOW do you find gems such as the Nokia 1112 offer, which, because I hesitated, have missed out on ?
Do you trawl the sites daily or is there something I can do to check them ?

O2 calls to 01/02 numbers are 25p a minute for first 3 minutes then 5p a minute. So theirs no difference in prices compared to virgin if you use the phone more then 5 minutes a day !!!!

O2 charge 40p a min to x-net mobi,s where as Virgin charge 35p a minute. Its possible to get Virgin down to 15p a minute using gateway number.0 -
Hi,
I hate to contradict you utilitybroker, but I can assure you on my tarrif with O2 I am charged 35p per minute and 12p per text. Its always been 35p per minute weekdays and 2p per minute weekends, to landlines, the texts used to be 10 and they put them up to 12 without any notification. So Virgin is going to be cheaper for me.
