I tired it today, but I wasn't given DTD, just a refund. I think a call to CS tomorrow is needed! Wish me luck!I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!0

As long as the SEL says £3.97,£4.97 or whatever your stores selling it at and it scans for more then you're in luck**** Itchin' for a glitchin' ****0

Ahhh but that's where the problem lies. Taking the product as being a Booster, the SEL in my store that had this as the product description had the price of £3.97. All good so far but the barcode on the label doesn't match the stuck on barcode on the toy.
There was an SEL for £24.97 with a description of Brawler Set but the barcode on the label matched the stuck on barcode on the toy. This is what the CS woman went with and said that the cheap single Bakugan toy is £24.97 "because the label says so and I obviously can't think for myself and see that there might me something amiss"!
I complained at CS about the girl who'd gone to the shelf to check and said that it was quite obvious the price was wrong. I wasn't even attempting to get DTD and to be honest, I was covering my tracks by trying to be innocent. The other girls on the CS desk seemed to agree that the product & price were wrong and one girl said she'd get the label removed. Nope, still there today. It's only a 50% DTD so unfortunately, so near yet so far for me0 -

btw lol means laugh out loud :rotfl::rotfl:

this forum have really gone downhill since pricecheck went to JTD
JTD means Just the Difference :rotfl::rotfl:
I think you need to apologise TBH.
I have used forums for the last 5 years and not once had anyone use OJ for only joking.
It is not regularly used, certainly on here, and your attitude in both this quoted post and others on this thread is very unpleasant.
You have come on acting like you started the thread and are a font of knowledge on tesco.
You may well know a lot about getting glitches from them, you may have lurked on here for a long time. But forum etiquette and manners does not mean you come in, throwing your weight around with only 22 posts.
Pay a little into the community and people will pay a little back.
So calm down, think about what your typing and have some manners.
(BTW a Private Message is a Private Message, you don't have to stick a note into the thread to tell everyone that you have sent one. I'm guessing you asked the OP for details of their deal, and I am hoping they did not give them to you. Again manners, they said they were not sharing, which in this case is more than understandable, so you shoudln't be asking. And if you didn't ask, apologies, but don't broadcast to the world about a PM because that is what everyone will think you have done, regardless)0 -

Water of a ducks back to me in the end, the guy was joking albeit in a fairly sarcastic way. Although he does come over as a bit of a know it all although but probably never worked in a supermarket and has no idea as to how it all actually works... many people would be surprised.
Thanks again and keep enjoying those bargains0 -

I didn't even bother trying with this today as in my local it was exactly as you describe ie the bar code on the item matched the £24.97 SEL barcode despite the dodgy descriptions.0 -

Just to back you up. As somebody who has spent more than a few hours on hereI've never seen (or heard of) O.J. either.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
