Russabbot, no, no, no, no.
Let me update you in one moment.....
I will quote myself (Thank you!) from another post, another thread, from another time....
"I don't know how they can afford to keep operating with this kind of thing going on.......Oh, Yes I do! It's because they made £3,540,000,000.00 profit before tax to April 2011. £3.54bn ...is about $5.8bn US Dollars......Thats about the same size as the whole of the economy of Mongolia!! In Profit!!
And just so you know, the turnover of Tesco is larger than the whole of the economy of Bangladesh - a country with a population of 150 MILLION PEOPLE!!
So lets not feel sorry for Mr T, lets be happy that somewhere along the line, the little guys and gals get one over the massive machine - Through Tescos own mistakes and policies- not through any kind of illegal activity. If Tesco did not overcharge their customers, then the DTD policy would never pay out a penny.
You would think a company of this size could make sure that the little label in front of a product matched the price it went through the till. My corner shop manage it all day every day, and they are a small family run business who has to put little price labels on everything. If they can do it, then Tesco can do it!"
So before you go stirring it all up, just think how many people, every day, get ripped off by Tesco with an overprice and do not realise it. That is much more than the few who go back to Tesco and complain about it.0 -

How is it that they are wipping off tescos exactly? They are taking advantage of a fault from tesco's....... the site is called MONEY SAVING EXPERT.... They are saving money - well actually making it :T, so cant see how it goes against it.....
(Off i trot to tesco's very quietly.......):rotfl:0 -

They are accidently over charging by £21 on this item, probably a genuine mistake.
Surely the moral thing to do is inform the staff that their pricing is wrong, rather then trying to scam money off them!
You should feel as bad as shoplifters or benefit cheats! Still knowingly stealing!Debt Free By Olympics 2012

Dear Russ
When Tesco have their mistake pointed out to them they DTD to stop themselves getting hammered by trading standards.
NONE of the other big supermarkets do this.
WHY ?
Because they hire competent staff to deal with data input.
WHEN Tesco are made aware of their mistake, and CS remove the SEL,
the very next day the same said SEL will be back in place trying to lure more customers into the little rip off trap Tesco set.
Its about trust Russ, when I do my weekly shop I do not remember the price of 40 individual items.
I TRUST THE SUPERMARKET TO BE HONEST AND CHARGE ME THE CORRECT PRICE, NOT ONE MADE UP BY SOMEONE WITH AN AIR BUBBLE BETWEEN THEIR EARS.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Who is stealing anything?
People are paying for the products, being overcharged and per tescos own policy are being refunded DTD.
They are informing staff that their pricing is wrong when they go to CS to claim DTD, if tesco staff can't be bothered removing the items from the shelf or putting the correct price up, that is their fault.0 -

i am supposedly meant to have gone to another store and got dtd in there store in shrewsbury by buying 4 then another 4 (if this is u plese own up)
the manager in shrewsbury supposedly knows me??? i havent been there for 2 years or more when they did the any coupon policy
also even though the manager said he ripped up the sel to the police hes now saying he put it in his pocket
he also said i went round and round in his store on purpose when my receipts show otherwise
ive asked for th cctv to be seized as i feel i need to go further
i know dtd isnt guarenteed and i would normally of just walked but for to rip the sel in my face up and then tell the police but then lie to HO i cannot agree with0 -
