Thats awful FB. Poor poor souls. Feel quite emotional on their behalf.
What fab news from LadyL, I hope she heals quickly and they have a happy life together. Its just over a year since divas last regular post on the daily, apart from the one off post to update on her health. I cant believe its been so long, and am sure she is smiling on them wherever she is. X
No need for hugs, for me, thanks, but some positive vibes for Y And D wouldn't go amiss. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Is it really that time ago since we lost our smashing Diva.I bet she is so pleased at Lady L's news especially as it closes the circle with Trist
JackieG I'm so sorry to hear you news tonight its a rotten filthy discease, and one in three people will get some form of it at some point in their lives ,but it is being beaten slowly but surely, and for some of us (I have just finished my third year in remission, only two more to go until the all clear)I live in hope for anyone who is suffering .My lovely middle brother Davy who lives in France has leukemia, and my late OHs brother has it in his bowel at the moment .It seems to becoming more prevelant than ever, but the survival rates are improving daily. When I was having chemo the nurse said that the rates in the past ten years for breast cancer had improved from 40-45% to 85% .One day maybe instead of the world trying to kill each other we will spend more money on research to keep more of us around
For all those who are feeling down and alone I will include in my chat later on with the Big Guy,it sure can't hurt.
Today I had a smashing day at my friends, and have only just got home (good job my eldest DD is at a party tonight or I would get told off for being out so late;) :rotfl:(I think she's turning into my Mother)
June and I sat and jawed most of the day and knitted and watched a movie and had lunch and a lovely dinner I came home with lots of spare wool and a big bag of apples and some more books to read.I have known her for over 45 years and she has been a very good friend to me over this time as we have the same interests and hobbies and also the same sense of humour It was lovely having a 'grown ups day for a change .Now I'm off to make a cuppa and find my jeffery Archer book to have a read in bed
Take care all and God Bless all here
love JackieO xxx0
