Good Morning Lyndsey, Apologies for the delay. I now have the results which show you last bill would increase by 1.2% due to the changes to your price plan. As this not 10% or more im afraid you are not eligible to cancel. Please contact Customer Services on 191 if you have any further queries.

This is the text I recieved this morning.
I have no clue how there working it out so I will be emailing again today and asking for an explanation of how has been worked out. I am really annoyed that he didn't call! I do think there calculations are incorrect. So I shall be escalating my complaint.0 -

I had a similar text on Friday, which also stated they'd used my August bill. Since writing back asking for further clarification I've heard nothing.
Might just cancel my DD. I'll bet they'd be in contact quickly enough then.0 -
My Husband has both of our iphones on one contract with Vodafone our normal bill is £70-£75 per month for both. Last month it was £100 this month it is £150. I admit we have been abroad and used our phones a little but this is unbelieveable! We have been wih them since July 10 and they have got our bill wrong at least 5 times I have spent hours on the phone to them and do not get anywhere.
Can we get out of our contract surely we have paid more than 10% due to our usage oh and we only new about the price changes because of MSE no texts for us!
The charges took effect from the 11th of October (2 days ago), so you won't have noticed the new charges on your bills yet.
Where did you go abroad? VF actually have pretty good roaming rates (the reason I'm with them in the first place). If you are outside Europe, however, then large roaming bills are inevitable. When I'm in the Middle East it costs something like £1.65 per min to make a call, and £1.35 to receive. Adds up very, very quickly.
It looks like your bill increases will be as a result of your roaming charges, and unfortuntely there's very little you can do about that.0 -

I've had a second email from Nick Buxton which was virtually identical to the first. He's saying that my bill will only go up by 0.6% but his email quotes an incorrect figure for out of bundle data (my main gripe) saying that it is £5 per 500MB whereas their web page shows that this will be £5 per 250MB.
I've emailed him back to ask for clarification and asked him to call me to discuss but I'd be very surprised if I hear anything back from him.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0 -

I've already pinged a note to Watchdog using their contact form and will have to see how that goes.
Aside from that, you need to get Voda to state in a letter (which they can email to you) that you've reached the end of their complaints procedure and then you can go to the Alternative Dispute Resolution process via OCS.(http://www.ombudsman-services.org/communications.html) and log a complaint through them. I'm gathering all the bits and pieces I can and then I'll be filling that in later.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0 -
I received a call from dan today and he's confirmed that mine will increase by more than 10% and I'm now free to leave. Result at last.

I've finally spoken to someone at VF and they're sending me a deadlock letter.
At least this means I can get an ombudsman complaint underway.0
