Tesco Bellshill. Laptops being witheld from customers. Have asked every day if they had any dell reduced laptops. Got told no, they all gone. Yesterday when buying FIFA at counter, I see a staff member buying a dell and emachines laptop for £149 quid less staff discount. Was so annoyed. Asked if they had any more and SA shrugs shoulders. Wrote complaint to head office0

If anyone can pick me up a panasonic tz10 I would pay the postage and a beer or two. Or if you could point me in the direction of a store with stock i would greatly appreciate it.0

There are still laptops to be had if you badger the Tech guys...
We decided to have a day out at Wonderland in T£l£ord, I thought I would pop in to T£l£ford Extra to see if there was any Braun Silk-Epil 5 etc for my better half. But as usual, only the ones with the new packaging was on the shelves.
Popped upstairs to the electrical department and harrassed this poor guy in the Tech department until he declared there was actually a laptop available but he said it was a ex-display with some missing keys, Power Supply, and maybe Battery. So off he went to get it to show me, he came back and said he had actually found all the items it comes with (Battery, Charger, Books, Discs etc).
Now I dont know if this was a good find or not but I purchased it anyway for £85 (£90 but also used a £5 off £50 voucher) . Its a Dell Inspiron 1545 (1545-9122) 320Gb, 3Gb Memory, Intel T4500 2.3Ghz CPU, Win 7, 15'6" screen.
I just checked on ebay and a replacement keyboard is around £10 delivered.
So for a grand total of £95 I got a ex-dispaly Dell 1545 laptop, so my 7 year old son will be happy this xmas....:)
Keep looking people, its not ended YET!

Whilst in another G!asg0w T's yesterday i was told that the tech staff had a raffle if you won the raffle you got to buy the laptops, so none of them went to the customers either, dunno whether to complain to HO or not,(i don't want anyone to lose they're jobs) but it's nice that they want us to purchase they're full priced stuff but when it comes to discounted stuff well...................:xmastree: :snow_grin Santa's Little Helper :snow_grin :xmastree:0 -

Hi I was in Bellshill today and saw a member of staff buying one with staff discout as well as other stuff and asked the member of staff who had served him could she check if anymore and she said there were none in a very nice polite voice I asked if this was because staff were getting them first and she said it was a perk of the job I was none to happy the member of staff buying was still on duty as well because he left it with other staff member and went back to work. Thanks for the tip, I hadn't heard of them. Unfortunately we don't qualify as no benefits.
Strange how they think we're rich but we think we're poor0 -
Yeah i had similar incidents with the camera stock, being told by the tech managress that they had no cameras instock at all. Best to complain and alert management to their dodgy practices. On another note, I have found very little bargains at the Bellshill store, even the clearance stock is only 10% off.magsmorris wrote: »Hi I was in Bellshill today and saw a member of staff buying one with staff discout as well as other stuff and asked the member of staff who had served him could she check if anymore and she said there were none in a very nice polite voice I asked if this was because staff were getting them first and she said it was a perk of the job I was none to happy the member of staff buying was still on duty as well because he left it with other staff member and went back to work.
