What's the point of lying to get a cheaper price? The licence will be invalid. Legally you'd be in the same position as you would with a pirated copy.
Then use the free alternatives such as OpenOffice and LibreOffice. Hardly any worse than the lying from Tesco staff so regularly observed in this thread when they want to get items for a cheap price. I.e. one not far above about member of staff taking a laptop from someone's hands and spouting a lie about needing refurbishment. This thread shows far greater dishonesty in regular use.Wanted a job, now have one. :beer:0 -
no probs it can look a little daunting completely different set up as from here but you find your way around soon enough , but it's much nicer on here i mostly lurk there lol

I didn't actually need it, as I managed to get one a week or so ago, when they first went down. Unfortunately, my friend asked if she could buy it off me for her son for Xmas, so it's no longer available.
That just proves the point though. We've all got family and friends who'd want a cheap laptop/netbook if we didn't need it ourselves, so the chance of anyone having even one to offer to a total stranger is incredibly low.

I must be a really selfish b*tch cos it would not enter my head to buy a laptop for someone I don't know. Seriously I'd flog it:eek:0

Has anyone else ordered via online grocery deliveries? I ordered 6 products (all different) for delivery today and got just one of them - and that was a cheaper substitute! They just refunded for the others as 'no appropriate substitution available'.
I'm annoyed though as I've just checked and they are still showing as available online. Grrrr .......... Wondering whether to ring and complain tomorrow but don't want to rock the boat for others if this is classed as a 'glitch'0 -
Gotta love this guy...

"I bought one for myself in superstore, was wrong prize, I think, so I bought few more. So you have chance to get it for bargain money."
Yes, or you could have left them in the store where at least 8 people could have enjoyed finding one for an even better price without having to pay you 275% more than you paid for it, plus £12 shipping! Note that the £12 shipping option is for a 3-5 day "economy delivery option too, not even first class!
I need a hand blender and I went out to Tesco looking for one of these every chance I got. It's no wonder I couldn't find one with people buying 8 at a time to put on eBay. And I am darned if I am paying £15 plus £12 shipping to a greedy ******** trying to make out he's doing people a favour.
