having spent nearly half an hour on tuesday, going through the lists here,we found an on display camera, from £129 down to £20, as it was the last one, we asked to see the store manager if we could buy it, he came out checked it and said we could, unfortunatley they couldnt find the box and saiid we could collect it when the tech guys were next in. i went in today to see the progress on this and guess what the camera has since 'dissappeared' and cant be found.im livid, i can only guess but i would think a member of staff has since made it dissappear!. im ringing store manager tomorrow to let him know whats gone on.

I wish I could be paid to do a job, and shop for exclusive bargains within those hours. Well in fact any job will do me, but that perk seems particularly nice.

What a travesty!! I have a few items 'ex-display' and some came with boxes and some didn't. They don't need the blooming box to sell you it anyway. I reckon you have been had

I had a reduced laptop whisked away from me as I held it by a member of staff at Tesco. He said that the Laptop should never have been put out for sale as it was awaiting a refurb. Even though it had a reduced sticker stuck to it. I logged a complaint on www dot tescocomments dot com and got an apology and "apparantley" have a "good will" gift card on its way to me in the post.

    Complain - every little helps

Bit like the SA who I asked to scan one of the bargain laptops and his reply was if it scans low I have to put it in the back. Huh! Then he told me they were all being sent back. Then his colleague told me the staff had raffled them off. I mentioned that there were many of these bargains all over the country and he more-or-less said people were lying and 'from Tescos point of view I can tell you they haven't'. So just stop it with all your fibbing on here:D

I hit the motherload today! Went to a Tesco quite a way away from me, but one I've not seen mentioned on here. Seems it hadn't had been pillaged and the staff weren't too bothered about the reduced electricals!

    I got:

    Toshiba netbook £99
2x Windows 7 Professional Upgrade £9.50 < for updating my two desktops!
    Twin Portable DVD player £24
2 Hoover handheld vacuum cleaners £2.96
6x 1 Hour Battery charger £2 (gone to friends and family)
2 x Microsoft Office 2010 product key thingies...not sure how to use these!
4 x Campingaz cooker £1.50 (1 for me, 1 for my sister, 1 for my uncle and 1 for a friend)
    4Gb Technika MP4 player £13

The best bit was that they took 2 x £5 off £50 spend on electricals (all I had on me), a £6 Morrisons voucher and a £5 Mail voucher!

Incidentally, for those making sarcastic remarks about people asking for spare laptops/netbooks, I bought the Toshiba netbook with the intention of putting it up on here for someone who's been asking for one (would have been cost plus postage). I didn't actually need it, as I managed to get one a week or so ago, when they first went down. Unfortunately, my friend asked if she could buy it off me for her son for Xmas, so it's no longer available.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Im looking for a twin dvd player if anyone wants to do a swap for something. My nearest large tescos only had the new box for £99 in stock :(
My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.
  • i dont suppose you travelled any where near london.. lol

These are useless unless swiped at the till which is when the cost as added to them. There's a reason they're 0p until they're swiped. Try follow the instructions and get your code on the website, and see what the website tells you ;)

I'm not sure this is allowed but I wondered if anyone in the Huddersfield/ Rochdale/ Oldham area wants to swap a 19 stitch sewing machine (this is the large machine not the mini) for a Kenwood food processor? I managed to get the machine from Oldham but have realised I will never sew anything but I will cook.....................
    Thanks
