These are useless unless swiped at the till which is when the cost as added to them. There's a reason they're 0p until they're swiped. Try follow the instructions and get your code on the website, and see what the website tells you ;)

So when they are swipped at the till, how much do they cost? I could probably go back to my local Tesco and ask them to swipe them.

If you're looking for a good deal on M$ Office 2010 buy from one of the student sites - I believe either you need to be a student, or have a child who is in school. Either create a fictitious child or utilise a family member's if you have none yourself. I don't believe they check. You can get the Pro version for under £40 I think. Start here maybe http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/microsoft-office-2010-professional-plus-37-89-software4students-1015571?utm_source=google&utm_medium=Deal%2BList&utm_campaign=Expired%2BPage

Surprised Tesco still haven't sorted out the Office cards since they were first posted on HUKD, should have circulated some sort of note saying to swipe them or made the tills say something when scanned. Wonder if anyone has sold one on ebay yet? Lol.
Wanted a job, now have one.
  • I'm not sure this is allowed but I wondered if anyone in the Huddersfield/ Rochdale/ Oldham area wants to swap a 19 stitch sewing machine (this is the large machine not the mini) for a Kenwood food processor? I managed to get the machine from Oldham but have realised I will never sew anything but I will cook.....................
    Thanks

    Hi, have PM you :D

DD would love one of these, she can sew but not cook
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Lighten up... I worked in supermarkets for 15 years and department managers do not earn a fortune and most will let staff have first pick of stuff before it hits the shop floor.

Like I say it is the same in all jobs... If I was an estate agent and we had a really good house come on the market I was interested in do you think I would advertise it before I had seen it myself?

Do you think that when the latest xmas toy comes in stock and people cannot get them for love for money that the people that work in these shops dont get theirs first.

Travel agent staff always get the best holidays, thats the way it works.

Mr phone shop worker has the latest iphone before anyone else.

Mr bun the baker has the has the cake with the biggest cherry on the top.

Thats life.... loads of us still got up of our !!!!!! each day and night and hunted down our bargains, so we can be happy too.

Only a small proportion of stuff went to the fat cats, majority went to normal working class people and Joe Public.

Absolutely. But were not talking about one or two items here, were talking about lots of staff filling their boots before either the store opened or simply stashing things away in the back room until they finish their shift. Now that is wrong.

And your suggestion that ppl were lazy and missed out because they didnt get off their asses and missed the bargains? Whats the point if the staff were stashing the goods away off the shop floor.

Just sticking up for the many who posted on this thread looking for bargains only to be told the staff got in their before them.

Personally I got loads of bargains from this thread, so thanks again to the OP.
Enough said from me, point made, back on topic.

What's the point of lying to get a cheaper price? The licence will be invalid. Legally you'd be in the same position as you would with a pirated copy.
