I beg to differ then. I certainly do begrudge any member of staff witholding stock before it goes on sale to the public. It is not right or ethical in my opinion and I'm sure there is something about this in their Employment T&C's?. It certainly was the case when I worked there.

All stock whether it be in the sale or not is there to be sold to customers of Tesco and should not be stashed away in the stockroom by some selfish staff member until they finish their shift.

Managers should clamp down on this and disciplinary action taken where appropiate.

Lighten up... I worked in supermarkets for 15 years and department managers do not earn a fortune and most will let staff have first pick of stuff before it hits the shop floor.

Like I say it is the same in all jobs... If I was an estate agent and we had a really good house come on the market I was interested in do you think I would advertise it before I had seen it myself?

Do you think that when the latest xmas toy comes in stock and people cannot get them for love for money that the people that work in these shops dont get theirs first.

Travel agent staff always get the best holidays, thats the way it works.

Mr phone shop worker has the latest iphone before anyone else.

Mr bun the baker has the has the cake with the biggest cherry on the top.

Thats life.... loads of us still got up of our !!!!!! each day and night and hunted down our bargains, so we can be happy too.

Only a small proportion of stuff went to the fat cats, majority went to normal working class people and Joe Public.

I got a few of these today for friends and family who camp at L3icester B3aumont L3ys, about 5 left on shelf, Also got the only Cadac gas BBQ for a fiver, been looking for this for a while so it made my journey worthwhile! :j

I also picked up one of the Cadac's today at the same store as you. There were three left on the shelf and I took one leaving two. I looked at the other camping things but they were too big, this Cadac looks perfect!

Am i the only person empty handed after numerous visits to different Tesco's, scanning countless number of items? not found 1 thing.:money:

No, me too. I found a Lumie body clock I didn't need which I bought to offer on here but I got nothing for myself. Oh, save for a Breville iron reduced to £12. Hopefully I'll do better from the next big grabbit.

I have posted this on toys but as theres electricals i'll post here too

    1 braun silk-epil 3
    1 braun silk epil 4
    1 babbyliss i-trim stubble
    2 moon doh ocean pals
    1 iggle piggle

1 fujifilm z70 in silver (there is a yellow sticker on the box with the original reduced price on which I haven't attempted to take off)
    1 lumie clear acne thingy
    1 russell hobbs slipstream iron
    1 razor graffiti scooter

I know it's a long shot but the things I am really after is a sony e-reader or sat nav

I'd love the scooter or camera if you would consider selling/swaps! I'm afraid I don't have a sat nav or e-reader. I do have a Family George Foreman Grill and a few other bits and bobs. I know its a long shot!

Are you selling the bodyclock by any chance?

A polite suggestion... maybe people who are interested in swapping could communicate with each other by PM?
It's just that these Tesco threads are long enough as it is? If people list their swaps list every day it gets even longer lol!
I'm sorry to sound like a moaner, but I'm reading MSE on a mobile phone and it's hard work! Thanks.

Yea but there's perks and plain greed, sorry but even shop floor staff at our store were annoyed when in spoke to a few as managers cleared most of it, huge crates I got told managers had off,
They get paid enough as it is poor floor staff never got a look in and one told me she asked for a barbie to bf put away , managers said no and as she left same manager had them in boot of the car loaded with everything else

This attitude really irks me. I posted similar last time you moaned about this on another thread. The real greed is clearly demonstrated by the minority of people on here who buy things they don't need and clear the shelves to prevent anyone else getting a look in. It is then being offered as a 'spare' to swap, all done in the guise of 'helping others'. sorry, but it's helping yourselves and if these things were left on the shelf in the first place perhaps those that need or want them would find them when they went to look.

Not a popular opinion, I know but don't post about greedy staff on a forum where greed is present in abundance.
