Just wanted to say thankyou to the OP for originally alerting us to all this way back!

I have finished looking for bargains now.

I managed to get 4 x cameras and 3 x electric razors on my travels.

    Can't still quite beliveve i paid 15 quid for a 12Meg 5 x Optic Zoom camera!.

But I do think it wrong that Tesco staff were allowed to buy this stuff too while on shift or keeping it out back for themselves. That is plain wrong and management should tell staff not to do it if it is happening in their store.

  • I have managed to get a few things, got one of the 71p irons too, a food processor, Braun razor, straighteners, tricity kettle. I have been lucky as all of the items were the last one on the shelf, although i have tried lots of stores, n8wtowna88ey, antr*m, spr*ngh*ll, bl00mf*eld, kn*cknag*ny, c*rr*ck. really wanted a sat nav and notebook but no luck there, i did find one of the £99 notebooks on display and got excited but they had none in stock
well done Tickles have been looking for the food processor to and the only place I havnt tried on your list is spr*ng**ll lol but tried everywhere else I'm of out with mum today so will call to any t's i see and will let you know if i find anything, have found n8wtowna88y to be the worst tho have never got a bargain in there and theres no price scanner for u to check anything
On the countdown mortgage will be paid off this year if I keep paying bit extra fingers crossed fully paid out by July :j
  • does an * on the full price label mean it is at reduced price - just been to Mr T to get DGS some new clothes and didnt see many bits bit did notice a label with an * on - it wasnt any interest to me but it might be to some of you - dont want to post it and send people on a goose chase if it isnt a bargin

My folks got a bed rail for 60p in c@rr1ck by accident but thank you anyway -katied-.

Between us we've managed to get 3 irons in k'g0ney (1 for me, 1 for mum, 1 for neighbour), a digital slow cooker (think it was Tricity) in k'goney, bed rail in c@rr1ck, digital photo frames in b@ng0r, no straighteners as I got a set on DTD :o, got 2 cameras but took one back and then when we checked the 2nd one I think it had been a display model and no destructions with it so got a refund.

I also gave a couple the £20 Tom-Tom voucher I had in my purse even though I'm sure they didn't need 3 of them but they did tell me about the kettles and the wife was preggers so I'm sure they're scrimping too. I do hope the sat-navs don't end up on eBay but at the end of the day the voucher was no use to me and they were buying them anyway.

I've done a lot better with toys, not that the boys needed any more. Almost ready for my new home in the New year. Just need a bed for me, toaster and deep fat fryer oh and a lottery win would be great!
  • deep fat fryers at my tesco for 6.90 and they had quite a few of them

I had heard that yes, that does mean a bargain, so checked out a number of items with * on the SEL and sadly none of them were reduced. But maybe other people will have better luck.
    :) Be nice - it's free! :)

Let me know if they have them in as I was planning on going to the N0*th Sh1*lds one later today but if they have them in then I will go up to KP.
