  • Yesterday and today's spends:
£1.79 in B&M on two jars of Sharwoods Breyani, £1 in POund shop on packet of cranberries, £10 at the market this morning on Fruit and veg and £2.29 on cheese - so £15.08 in all.
Also spent £42 in Pets at home on about two weeks worth of kitty fodder:eek: fortunately on a different budget.
I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly :D

So have totted up all the receipts so far and entered them on my Spendometer on the phone and its looking bad as I have spent 214.76 of my 425.00 budget. BUT I have got my meal plan sorted until 24th Sept apart from fruit, veg and bread top up (some milk n bread in freezer). I will stay strong and keep out of the local Co-op etc unless I need basics, plus will do it before picking kids up from school or thats over £1 gone on sweeties they dont need!

Am feeling positive at the moment. Made a fresh cream victoria sandwich cake and plan to do more baking in the week to keep the munchies away.

    Another NSD for me today:T
Feeling chuffed with myself, normally I would probably have nipped to the shop 2 or 3 times by now!

Not sure how to do this in sig yet so: Sept challenge £19.99/£120

If you click on user cp at the top of the page, then click edit signature, a box should pop up. you then can just write down whever you want in it.
    Hope that helps:)

Well been a NSD so far, even though we've ran out of milk.

Decided to go looking for brambles today, ended up under the motorway bridge and found quite a few blackberries, no where as many we usually do. but no matter, bramble jam for us!
then out of the corner of my eye i spotted three, yes three apple trees:eek::eek:.
Unfortunately someone beat me to all the eating apples, but no matter we got three small ones which were lush. Found some quinces and crab apples. :T So we know where to find them next year :D.;)

oops just looked at the time better start on dinner :o.

Just back from doing the weekly shop at Mr T - spent £57.92 for the four of us which isn't too bad, and should cover all meals for all four of us for the week, plus cleaning materials etc.

  • Hello all,

Have been missing from the GC for some time now but a very expensive holiday and shopping for the new school year has brought me back.

Can you put me down for £400 please Helen Jelly and thanks so much for taking over the updating. I know it takes time and dedication - we really appreciate your efforts :j

We've already spent £100 stocking up the cupboards and fridge after many weeks away. Hopefully I've remembered everything for the school lunches on Tuesday :rotfl: only fruit needed before next Saturday now.

A small spend (£12.03) for me today, mainly packed lunch bits for the kids in readiness for next week but I forgot my lunch and had to buy it (Grrrrrrrrrrrr !) Am on a bit of a health kick too so a ready made salad was the best option but at £3 it wasn't cheap ! There's not a lot of choice around where I work, so needs must !

I did manage to save a couple of £££s as used DSIL discount card :j
