  • Morning! A £95.87 'big shop' in MrT last night with OH  Plenty of meat for freezer, whoopsie bread items, fridge filled, storecupboard bursting and a few more little items for the christmas cupboard... :j OH slipped a DVD into the trolley too (£7!!) but I'll include it. Got 6 bags of the buy one get two free scampi (OH is scampi obsessed so this will save a little cash over the next few months lol). This shop should last 2 weeks meat and storecupboard wise, but I think we will need to top up the fridge again next week.

We relaxed a little this week with the shop as I'm off on a week of annual leave, so some value cashews, a few nice cheeses and bottles of fresh juice made it to the tills.

Still, treats or not I dont think it would have come to that much if we'd been shopping a year or two ago..!!

Right, I'm off to buy the two of us some winter clothes...:rotfl:

  • Morning, managed a NSD yesterday, but its a spendy weekend ahead.

So far i've spent £3.24 in Tesco's on frubes, perle du lait yogs and loaf of crusty bread to go with HM soup at lunch and nipped in to butchers for bacon, cooked ham and teacakes so another £5.46 gone, going to do a big shop at sainsburys tomorrow as i have a voucher for £12 off £60 spend and i aim to spend as close to the £60 as possible:), will probably nip into Tesco's tomorrow as i will be passing and it would be rude not to buy more frubes and perle du lait:D.
  • Please may I join you?
Already been doing this on my own, had a budget (big) of £200 per month, and have already spent £100! :eek:There is only me and a 3 year old (and a cat)!!! I have quite a lot already in the house so hoping by joining this thread it will rein me in a bit. Ive upped my budget for the rest of the month to £150 to start me off and hopefully by coming on here it will set me up better for next month.
Please put me down for £150 for September please

TEXT BOOK ERROR - took hubby to aldi - spent £44 quid and ended up with un-needed beer, chocolate, kitchen roll and chocolate biscuits and ice-lollies - when will I learn! Spend around £30 when I go alone!
