and have the RSPCA knocking on your door with an arrest warrant no doubt. Water pistol is just as effective. You decry the cruelty to birds but what about the cruelty to the cat that you are advocating. Talk about double standards.

Cats chase birds - its nacha innit.

    Cheers

First off I never said to shoot them, the leap to that conclusion is through your own thoughts (perhaps the RSPCA should investigate you with thier mind control devices as a pre-emptive strike).

Second, can the RSPCA arrest me? I'm no lawyer but I didn't think they could.

Thirdly, I am a human and can catch and kill various animals. If I do that is that not 'nacha' too? What if I get a dog and the dog eats the cat? Is that ok in the world you inhabit?

And finally, the way I see it is that it is my property. If the cat comes in uninvited I will seek a UN sanction and bomb the cr*p out of it.

    Meow :)
As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.
  • first we get the cats. then we start on the worms!

You don't its just soil. Let it just work its way back into the grass. Actually t'worms are doing you a good service. They are aerating your soil far better that you could do it mechanically.

Blah blah. Thats what you were distinctly implying deny it though you may.

Did I neglect to mention the police officer that was accompanying the RSPCA Inspector. Sorry.

As for the rest - nice swerve on the double standards issue.

Actually, we are both very nice people, who utilise our garden to grow various organic fruit and veg for our own consumption. Next door leave their rear garden to their animals.

While we pick (by hand) our ground crops when ripe, one often picks up "cat poo". When we plant new seeds, next day they can be dug up because a cat/s decides to use our plot as a toilet, or new seeds growing as they do, to be dug up by a cat/s.

I have spent a small fortune and, given up my quality time netting off areas we use to grow in ground food crops, to no avail, still dug up, or we pick up poo while tending to OUR little area of Britain.

I wont go into damage done to our cars over the years while they have sat under our lean to out of the elements, I have spoken many times to neighbours about the grief their animals cause others, they do not care.

So please Harry's nan, do not say I am NOT a very nice person, you do not know me, nor do you have any inclination of the grief people have to suffer because of irresponsible others.

If I had young kids like the OP, I would be out with my shotgun, hope young harry never get a illness when innocently playing in HIS garden!!
  • I also use a sonic cat repeller, they take a few days at first, but they do work.
