I love it with loads of cheese.
Its perfect comfort food for meSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Mmm this sounds lovely will make this for tomorrow night's supper and serve with beans. Have got loads of spuds (cheap from a farm shop) and am on the lookout for nice (easy) recipes. my 4 year old will love this too!!0

You can also add a small amount of english mustard to the mixture. I don't really like mustard but you can't taste it and it really seems to bring out the flavour of the cheese, meaning less can be used, costing less money0

My nan puts rashers of bacon and slices of tomatoes on hers.
Chopped bacon could possibly be nice.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
I like to add a few bacon bits (pre-cooked).
I've never tried it with leeks as springchick suggested.
Got some growing in the garden so I might try that tommorrow!0 -

My 3 year old loves cheese and potato pie. We serve our with either salad - in the summer or beans and sausage or just beans in the winter - yum.
