Welcome AF
help yourself to the little faces - I see we have a similiar amount of debt. Hope you manage to get a 0% card soon.
Must admit I don't always stick to my meal plans as often I don't fancy what is on the menu for the day! I talked earlier in the diary about getting back into the habit of having homemade ready meals in the freezer but haven't done that yet!
Well the kitchen is now clean and tidy, dishwasher emptied and re-loaded and a load of washing on the go.
Whilst I was battling to get into DDs room to get her uniform for washing it dawned on me that I really don't set a good example when it comes to housework. I am very inconsistent with no routine and get so  with myself when I let the house get into a tip. Ususally that's when someone decides to call round unexpectedy and I am so :embarasse
So I am going to take a leaf out of Supernanny's book and draw up a rota and get the kids to help out. There's no point in me ranting at that them that the house is a ruddy mess with their cr*p everywhere when I am not consistent about not only making them responsible for tidying up after themselves but helping me to keep on top of things.
Right now off to tackle the dumping ground of doom which is our dining table :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Dining room conquered - actually wasn't as bad as I thought once I got going. Isn't that usually the case though!
1 load of washing folded and put straight away from the tumble drier.
Advert for one of the payday loan companies has just been on the TV and I thought 'never again' I am in control now and will stay that way.
Just having a cuppa then off to tackle the lounge which is the one room I generally manage to keep tidy so hopefully won't take long.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Well that's the lounge done and dusted (literally!)
Time for a spot of lunch then it's the downstairs loo, hall, stairs and landing. I'm getting there
Sorry to bore people with this but it's helping me get things done and that's the important thing!:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Well that's the downstairs loo, hall, stairs and landing done - progress is being made
Now for the bathroom - which will be interesting as I appear to have run out of cleaning products - may need to resort to washing up liquid or shower gel!!!!:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Bathroom done and another load of washing out of the TD, folded and put straight away.
My bedroom next. Am in two minds then as to whether to attempt the kids rooms or wait until they are back and get them to sort them out.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Right that's my room done and as I am on a roll am going to plough on and sort DS bedroom. tbh it is the size of a postage stamp so shouldn't take me long. DD room on the other hand is much larger and has junk - sorry her prized possessions - strewn everywhere.

DS bedroom sorted and that's enough housework for me. Am going to treat myself to a movie and a glass of wine before the chaos ensues once more when they get back home!!
Need to have that housework rota done as well. Have a good Sunday evening everyone:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Hi Fuzzybear
You've got loads done today...well done! :j
Just wondered if you have heard of flylady? She's the queen of the clean and organised household and has an excellent website, daily challenges, challenges for the kids and will help you put together a control journal so you never feel disorganised again.
I have to admit, I spend more time reading about how to get the cleaning and organising done than I spend actually doing it. But the times I've tried it, the house has indeed been spick and span.
Just a thought. Enjoy the rest of your sunday. If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
