Hi FB - I found paracetamol and nurofen really do make a difference! I can tell I am not breathing as well tho - and my head feels clogged - and I shiver and shake... Bit of a shame really since I'm due to go back to work Monday after about 2 months off! Typical timing!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Just stumbled accross your diary FuzzyBear and you have made a great start to the debt busting. I will be subscribing if that is ok. All the diaries jumble up and i can never find them again.
I'm in a similar situation with two pre teens who guzzle milk and treat the house like a youth hostel but like you say at least we know where they are and what they are doing plus it makes for good entertainment most days.Grocery Challenge Sept 2021 £95.40/£500

Welcome NJK
Well am feeling a little bit more with it today so think I am over the worst of the lurgy. I hope you are feeling better for Monday SH - it must be hard enough going back after being off so long. Though you are having a phased return aren't you?
Will be a spend day as need to get a few bits for lunchboxes and some dye to get rid of my shocking grey roots

Hi FB - glad you're feeling better. My cold is a lot better today - nose has stopped and breathing returned to normal. Just my post-op pain still to contend with. I am going back to work tomorrow as yes I am on a phased return and only have to do 3 hours a day initially. I am sure I can manage that as I have been going out for 3 or 4 hours at a time the last few weeks anyway.
Hope you have a good weekAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well despite praying otherwise so I didn't have to go to work today I am feeling much better!
Had a confirmation email from Next that my account is now closed. That's £2300 of temptation removedJust have 1 loan left to transfer and close which I will do on Thursday and that is all the old debt moved to 0% and accounts closed :T
Once I get past Thursday I am hoping I can divert the energy and attention I have given to sorting out debts and budgets to sorting out the house. Have been brushing up on the flylady and want to get back on board with that. I want to be in the position whereby I can invite anyone into the house at anytime. Am sure I have already said that earlier in this thread. I'll warn you now I do have a tendency to repeat myself
Managed to do quick swipe of bathroom and downstairs loo, wipe kitchen worktops and get a load of washing on before I left for work this morning. DD came back from camping yesterday with binliner full of very muddy clothes so wash basket is full again!
Had quick word with DS last night as his room is starting to get messy again - will make him tidy tonight and he has stopped making his bed I noted this morning. I have not done the rota that I previously mentioned - must seriously look at that.
Well I had better get back to work.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off

Well an unexpected day at home due to DD not being well. She woke up during the night with sore throat feeling dizzy and nauseous. She has been a bit up and down so far today and had a high temp.
On the upside while DD has been dozing on the sofa I have managed to get a few more loads of washing done and cleared out the hallway cupboard which had become stuffed with junk.
Am expecting today to be a NSD.
Well the patient is calling so had better go.
Hope everyone is having a good day.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( = £13000 to pay off
