who has the highest mileage

I've noticed over the last couple of days quite alot of threads on cars and there mileage etc when buying.I was just wondering who can claim to have the highest mileage on there daily runner. It would be nice to know what type of car it is as well.

I'll start off, mine has done 104,200,it is a 2001 fiesta and is running sweet as a nut!

if you can beat this mileage which i'm sure some of you can please post it up!

    241,000 on an 1996 BMW 5-series Estate, 2.0.
Just shot through another MOT with a couple of minor advisories.
  • 117K on an 06 plate Astra 1.3CDTi estate, just shot through MOT with only one advisory, the same one that has been on the last 3 MOTs, the 30mm crack in the windscreen which is unrepairable but legal.

I had a corrado vr6 with ~165k on the clock - still looked like new inside and out, unfortunately it didn't drive like that, the gearchange in particular was terrible. The cables must never have been changed or adjusted. Also had numerous cooling problems. Still loved the thing though and having said that I'm sure the motor itself is still running strong.

190,000 on a 2000 BMW 740 with no major problems yet.

Not a car but my 2001 Scania truck has 1.7 million km’s on the clock which is just over 1 million miles. Engine, gearbox and even the clutch is 100% original.
