Emailed and complained and they sent me £5 voucher and instructions on how to open the can which seemed a lot more difficult than opening a can of coke. Im not quite sure whether this will catch on.
I emailed to complain, and they ignored me :mad:Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

my friend wrote to cadbury's and said that after eating a crunchie, he did not get 'that friday feeling' so they sent him £3 vouchers for more chocolate. The same person wrote to Kingsmill and said that their new bread was not 'Best of Both', and recieved yet more vouchers, genius really0

I have just been reading the complaint letters and chuckled to myself....I used to complain all the time (and compliment too sometimes). To Ryvita about their currant cruch ryvitas (no currants), WWatchers cookies and cream icecream (no cookies), burnt bits in cornflakes, missing packets of soup in cupasoup boxes etc etc. I always used to get loads of vouchers sent. Complained to a kiddies cup manufacturer about how my little boy's cup had split (the way he threw it on the floor probably went a little way to breaking it!) and they sent me a new cup, plus 4 others to compensate on their "shoddy plastic"!!! Complimented Birds Eye on their SteamFresh Veg and asked when they were going to bring out new products ... got £5 vouchers. Haven't done if for a while, but after reading this, has got me going!! I have an Oil of Olay Body Lotion that has only lasted me 1 week (and I paid £7-50 for it....well, not strictly true....£2-50 because I used my £5 off Boots skincare voucher!!!)...let's see what they say about that then!!!
Thanks for the boost!!!!0 -
Usually I don't bother complaining about stuff and just bin it, but after reading this thread I decided to complain to Birds Eye when one of their new Steam Fresh fish (salmon) packs exploded in my microwave, splattering the sauce all over, and received an email back saying a letter of apology and vouchers are in the post

a few years ago i bought a pack of cigarettes, opened them tried to take one out and the filter came off, found all the ones that weren't loose, sent the rest back with a letter.
Got two free packs and a stamp as it was a free post address and i put a stamp on.Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.0 -

linz wrote:My mum bought a baxters frozen chicken about 20 years ago and when she got home she noticed it was all bruised around the next where it had been strangled. She was so annoyed she sent the chicken back in a shoe box. I cant remember if she got anythign back but they sent a letter of apology back and asked her if she had any future complaints not to send the product back because they'd had a complaint from royal mail about the smell0
