  • Hey Fairy3 WELL DONE YOU!! :j
What a great start - don't forget to have little rewards as you go.

I have just finished the undercoat in the shower room so my reward is to sit down with a fizzy drink and come on MSE for 5 minutes or so. Then off to put the washing away - one of my tadpoles that seems to grow into a frog by the end of the week :rotfl:

Welcome and hope you enjoy the ride ... x

Thanks for the welcome FW! Well done on the bathroom, I have some work in that area too which involves 'finishing off' after a refurb so bathroom frogs will be coming soon.

Forgot about the reward so am going to have a soak with my new James Morrison CD before X factor whilst doing another Frog - 10 items of ironing.

Is anyone squishing froggies this week or have we all succumbed to the the awful germfest that a warm November brings? Hugs to all.

    Hi rowsew,

Yes I am still "squishing froggies"; just haven't done an update yet ("froglet"). Some have been completed and others are in the process of. The weather does make the outdoor "frog" tasks less attractive but have got some indoor ones as an alternative.

Here is my "froglet" which is an update of frog "tasks" done:-

"Froglet" - removed an ink stain off living room wallpaper so no sign now it was there.

"Froglet" - sorted out a crafts box which has given me some creative ideas.

"Froglet" - to check how to save money on an aspect of health care. "Reward" discovered it is possible.

"Frog?" - still deleting computer "favorites" but these were more time consuming as useful info was transferred to own files. "Reward" was it makes use of time if outdoors is unappealing.

"Tadpoles" - gardening such as weeding a pavement area, generally tidying up and sorting out rose bushes. "Reward" is that the garden is becoming moreless ready for winter.

    So that's me uptodate folks!

Have squished a few of the pesky frogs, note the most important one at the bottom! Couldn't manage to do everything as we were a bit stuck for time, but nonetheless a fairly productive day.

Sorry I've not been around lately, the manic run up to Christmas that happens in church circles has got under way here. Not sure what constitutes 'Frogs' and what are just things that have to be done. In the last week I have made 8 cakes and finished 6 Xmas stockings for one Church Fair today. Next week I have to make 2 batches of mincemeat, dozens of cheese scones and finish making some scarves for the other Church Fair and decorate a tree for the Christmas tree Festival. Last year we did 'Angels from the realms of glory' with dozens of angels - go on, you guessed that didn't you? This year we are doing 'Twinkle, twinkle little star' and I have looked out all our star decs and got loads of star lights. This is all in addition to making puddings for the Drop-in and keeping the wheels of the Manse turning. Oh, and still trying to sell my own house and my late Dad's.
My own Christmas doesn't begin to happen until at least Dec 1st. The vicaress and I are committed to 10 Christmas lunches so far. Fortunately only 2 days have 2 meals in them, the rest are scattered around.
I have plenty of frogs lurking in the wings but can't even begin to think about them.
Oh no! it's church magazine week this week. How could I have forgotten that?:eek:

Have just read this through and it sounds like catalogue of moans from an abused martyr. Don't believe it. I love it!

Dannie, your garden must be a thing of beauty, you work so hard in it.

Rowsew. you are managing with your poor foot splendidly. I hope you are taking every bit of help you are offered. You make me ashamed of making all the excuses when you are really struggling.

Football widow. You have accomplished a phenominal amount too. No wonder you are tired.

Fairy3. If Flylady could see my house she would write another book immediately. It wouldn't be called Sink Reflections, it would probably be called something like, 'How do you find your bed, you lazy !!!!!!, and what's that funny smell?':rotfl:

    Happy squishing.
I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.
