A FROG a week equals a special treat!

Massive Toad accomplanished yesterday and finished off today, Moved all the bricks and part bricks. The odd bits of plaster and small brick and debris have gone into the lane at the back of the house. So all cleared from the back garden. Wood has been seperated and the nails removed ready for recycling. We were going to get a skip and spend out about £90. So happy that we managed to save some money, just with a bit of hard graft.
Another Frog was to sort out an area for Winston the rabbit. During the week he was been in a hutch and a small run. Normally he lives in the garden and the plants have been suffering for it. So I have cut up some wire fencing and popped it along some fencing and the rabbit is now at the bottom of the garden where we have a concreted area where the trampoline lives and the garage, so the hutch has been moved in there, door open and he has the run of the area. Much happier I can tell you.
Guinea pigs are outside today enjoying the sunshine and I'm currently airing the hutches.
DH has hoovered up the leaves, there is still some on the trees so no doubt we will have to do it again.
monnogran sorry to hear you are lacking incentive at the moment. I am sure that it will come back for you once you are ready. Perhaps try and do a little tadpole to get you started again, and maybe plan a nice reward.
Dannie glad to hear that you are percevering and getting your garden sorted for the winter. I too am eager to get all those little jobs done before the bad weather is upon us. I have a lot of pots that are empty now and I would like to brighten up the outside area so will be looking to sort them out this week. Not sure what to put in them as the slugs have eaten all my hostas and primroses. Pansies and violets seem to grow out of themselves so quickly. Might pop into the green figures forum to see if anyone has any idea. What ever I do I know I need to sort out the drainage as they just so water logged. So lots to do. Would also like to get some plants in my hanging baskets rather than them just sitting there. A bit of a frog for me to get them all done but a lovely reward to see them sorted.
Half term is underway so we shall have to see what jobs need to be done. Still have the electrics to be done, ceilings to be done and the radiator to be put back (got to be cleaned!). Then off course the painting has to be done!! Just got to decide what colour (the enjoyable bit).
Also got my hotspot - a drawer - to be done!
Hope everyone is keeping on top of their frogs. xFootball Widow :footie:

Saturday was one of those days whereby I was busy in the kitchen so the only task was a "tadpole". It was simply to relocate something from the kitchen to the garden which only took a minute. However, it had needed doing for 1-2 weeks and was finally done towards the end of the day, so not pleased about Saturday!
Sunday was more consistent with the "frogs" although a continuation of gardening tasks ("tadpoles"). Pleased a lot was done but not finished. Also, sorted out sections of a file, hopefully to make it more easier to be organised and be aware of "frogs".
Football Widow - You seem to have made a lot of progress. What you said to monnagran was interesting. "Tadpoles" for me are useful for days of less motivation but also a break from the worse "frogs".0 -
hi fellow frog squishers
Have completed one of my major frogs this week....have cleaned and de-cluttered my pantry and have cleaned and rearranged all kitchen cupboards :A
I have also de-hydrated lots of apples ready to make my museli and granola (easy but very time consuming!!) and have been very indulgent and have bought myself a new vacuum cleaner as vacuuming is one of my major frogs...however, it is now so easy that it is a daily tadpole :jMortgage 12.12.12 £55842 12.12.13 £42716 14.12.14 £28837 13.12.15 £25913

Oh well done icontinuetodream that sounds really great and I bet you are feeling very satisfied. What a reward - a new vaccum cleaner - how lovely!
Dannie yes catching the tadpoles certainly helps doesn't it.
Made a lasagne with DD yesterday from scratch. The dish wasn't quite big enough so it spilled over into the oven. So a FROG for me - clean that oven!!
Have a great day x
p.s. the lasagne was absolutely lovely, so well worth the effortFootball Widow :footie:

Hello everyone. Recently, I have been doing various "frog" tasks. A "froglet" has been two long trips (12 miles total) to a cash and carry for a storecupboard ingredient. Never keen on this trip for some reason but now am fully stocked up and have saved about £30.
Another task involved sorting out drawers and cupboards ("tadpoles") so very tidy now. Also, watched a tv. programme that I had got behind with which was very interesting. Finally, the gardening "tadpoles" continue for instance sorting out compost/putting around plants, preparing land for another compost bin and positioning council bins nearer to the back door. All these "tadpoles" are with winter in mind.
Another seasonal task ("tadpole") today was relocating a cacti plant to a warmer room. Hope everybody is doing okay.0 -
Hi Frogstompers! Once again I can only report that I`ve put cart before horse (I mean treat before frog)
I`ve got some lovely new pans (Tesco vouchers) but no space for them. Kitchen is desperate for a good de-clutter so I`ll have to do that to make room for new stuff. I`ll enjoy doing that when I get time to do it properly, it`s really TIMING between work and the basic home tasks that`s the frog!
Much of today spent faffing ferrying family around, plus a bit of shopping.
Still to do - clear a bit of working space in my small kitchen, put rest of shopping away, do DGD`s tea, then it`ll be OH`s packed meal then dropping him off at work (nights). My treat will be having an early night as I`ve got a long shift tomorrow. I`ll take ham & egg salad sandwiches to bed!0 -

Hiya All
Well half term is over and I have to say that we had a good one. Did some nice things with DD and DH had a couple of days off with us. Today we went to the Real Halloween put on by the Fairyland Trust and it was really lovely. Our Halloween party tomorrow so going to busy baking in the morning making little cup cakes (my favourite!)
Anyhow a new week awaits. No work tomorrow as the family has a nasty bug so have suggested I don't go, but they can't come to the party either which is a shame.
Going to start following the Fly Lady thread to try and get on track with the house work.
However my little frogs are as follows:
Sort out Tax Code!
Hoover up the leaves (not too many left on those trees)
Clean out the rabbits area, he is making use of all that space!
These are what I would like to do tomorrow on top of all the other things that I have to do.
Reward: to make time to start my new book from the library
Looking forward to hear how everyone else is getting on.

Good morning everybody.
Recent "frog" activities:-
Two "frogs" were making an appointment at the GP's and having another attempt at shortening the long list of computer "favorites". Not sure what the rewards are for these as they are still unfinished. The individual "favorites" will reveal various types of "frogs" and will be handy to tackle when outdoor "frogs" are interrrupted by the weather.
With reference to the weather ("froglet") it seems offputting going out for exercise but yesterday I did so am pleased to have had a change.
"Tadpoles" again where gardening-related such as moving stones off a pavement area, weeding flags, pruning and composting. The "reward" being exercise and completing seasonal jobs. Another "tadpole" was making a cup holder which prevents clutter and makes them easier to find.
Anyway, hope everybody has a nice halloween!0 -
Hi folks,
It was a slow bitty day yesterday so just one "tadpole" which was tidying the backyard and sorting out plantlets. The "reward" being, just that it was fully completing previous "tadpole" gardening tasks.
Good luck for your November "frog" tasks.0
