Morning All
Have not felt great over the weekend, so not at work this morning. can't decide if I should go back to bed or just crack on. If I over do it it tends to knock me sideways.
Frog for this week is: Sorting out Gift bags for DD's Party. Sorting out Birthday Presents for TC and R. Organising Christmas presents.
Not that annoying and not really horrible to do. Just got to get them done ...:rotfl:
Monnagran well done for clearing that clutter I bet you are feeling very liberated!
Dannie yes life does tend to get in the way doesn't it, but that's the great thing about frogs they always manage to hop back!!
adelight Welcome - hope you are getting on with your list and that you have got that mould spray now
rowsew hope that you are on the mend.
This afternoon my DD and I will be making some noticeboards after I bought the wrong size chipboard for the floor in the shower room, very excited as haven't made them before and looking forward to doing some crafty with my lo.
With that in mind think I might just pop out to the shops ... xFootball Widow :footie:

Dark and damp today and in my topsy-turvy world that means a sudden rush of energy. So, all my winter clothes unpacked and put away, just a bit of ironing to do. Wardobes all cleaned and polished and bedroom more or less sorted, will give it a good clean tomorrow. The garden, having been like concrete for ages is now a quagmire. Have decided that I am not going to get it all done so will concentrate on tidying up all the pots and containers and looking after the veg and will get 'a man' to come in and weed the flower beds and do a bit of pruning. Feel slightly guilty, but only slightly. Think it's important to know when to throw the towel in as I simply can't do what I did even 5 years ago. Have reluctantly accepted that every year after the age of 65 or 70 means a little less stamina. Except for my Dad who was gardening quite vigorously at 90. But then he didn't have to do much else!
FW hope you feel better soon. Don't push yourself, your health and well being is more important than any number of frogs.
Danny, know what you mean about life getting in the way of good intentions.
I suppose most of our frogs will soon be wearing tinsel and festive accessories.

Hi everybody,
Since Monday I tackled a "frog" which was going to the GP's as I had been requested to have two medical tests. A "reward" from this appointment is that the first set of results were normal. Hopefully, the second results will be "satisfactory" and maybe will learn something helpful.
Gardening "tadpoles" continue. (Adding stones to a rockery, tidying up jobs, putting plant pots away, collecting flower seeds and making a fertiliser/treatment for bushes). The "rewards" being it is nice to get bitty jobs done.
Thanks for your comments Football Widow and monnagran. Everyday life things are still interrupting doing tasks and often I consider whether to change or stop some of these daily living things.
Hope everybody is managing okay with their "frogs".0 -
Hi all
Frog of knitting has almost been completed, neck and armhole rib to do, and sewing up the sides. Big tick for that is nearly a Christmas gift done.
Frog of Thing Two's birthday, also nearly done presents all wrapped and hidden. Just need to find a lovely birthday card, but still have two weeks for that.
Frog of finishing my brothers' quilt (started about three years ago I think), is being tackled today. Mostly to have a bit of a break from knitting, but there is a lot of hand quilting to do if this is to be ready for Christmas!
Frog of broken foot - still ongoing. I can't believe is still hurts so much, it's almost four weeks now and I am still taking paracetemol like I have shares in the company. Oh well, can't have everything I suppose.
Hope all your froggy squashings are going well.:jMoney saving eco friendly Fertility reflexology specialist :j0 -
I think this idea of a Frog List is great!!!
The hard bit for me will be getting rid of the Frogs and convincing OH that it's a good idea!...
We do have a BIG "Jobs To Do" list bur when it gets to the weekend, we are both so tired from working all week that DIY, etc is not the most attractive option...
BUT...I should adopt the attitude that "Those Frogs won't hop away on their own!!!!"
I will try to convince her this weekend....Fingers Crossed, wish me luck! :rotfl:DFW'er - Lightbulb moment : 31st July 2009 - £18,499
28th October 2019 - £13,505 - 27% paid off.

Hi,
I cannot think of anything specifically completed really rowsew and all.
There was one "froglet" I forgot to mention which I find annoying (but less so nowadays). This was sweeping up the outside and entrances to the house. Other people drop their litter and never bother. However, now it's done and tidy so it makes me also feel much better.
Other than that, general health makes simplistic normal tasks turn into types of "frogs".0 -
Poor you rowsew - sorry to hear that you are still in pain, however it sounds like you are making good progress with the making - well done you!
Weclcome Chrisblue1962 - Fingers are crossed for you. Perhaps a good incentive to get things done would be the reward part - a nice takeaway or meal or something that you can do together. Let us know how you get on.
dannie fingers crossed for you too for your second lot of tests, let's hope they come back ok for you.
I have decided that I must be suffering with SAD, the greyness just gets me down (even my employer has suggested I get a day light bulb, however haven't managed to think how I would attach to my head all day - do they still do those umbrellas that sit on top of your head :rotfl:)
Anyway a couple of frogs have been done - cleaned out the rabbit and the guinea pigs, also made an appointment for Winston to go to the vets.
The Shower Room is now ready to be painted, I have made a start and DD is going to assist  me today as DH is at football. Really got to get it done as soon as possible, so that we can get Grandad back with us.
Have a lovely day everyone xFootball Widow :footie:

Good morning everybody,
Just a couple of overlooked "frogs" that I forgot to mention -
A little bit of weeding whereby the "reward" is finding edible greens which I added to a soup recipe.
Fixed a skirting board which kept "looking at me" for weeks. "Reward" is it is a lot neater now.
Tried to fix a backgate and hopefully the advantage is it will prevent further deterioration as it would be costly to repair or replace.
Computer "favorites" again but no sooner some are deleted new ones are added.
So things are moving slowly really and the outdoors seems less inviting. I don't know whether there are similarities to what you say about SAD Football Widow. This time of the year always seems a challenge so will have to check my pending "frogs" and see if tackling them improves things. Anyway, thanks for your nice message and hope things improve for you (not forgetting "good health" for Winston)!0 -
Good Morning All - Well it is a lovely bright day here today and it is all go.
We have sorted out the garage aka the playroom. DH has gone off in a fully laden car to the special recycling centre where they can dispose of plaster and plasterboard. Builder aka as next door neighbour has all his stuff back. Winston had chewed through a blanket that had been covering a pool table (small one!!) so the pool table is now in my kitchen and the blanket has been decluttered to the recycling centre. So a really big FROG has been dealt with this morning.
Washing almost up to date and nearly put away, but have to start painting shortly so that will have to wait.
Managed to do a couple of frogs yesterday - cleaned out the tortoise and have decided to hibernate him in January so that he doesn't take up space in the fridge over Christmas. He had a lovely bath and the tempreature has been set properly so he is a lot happier now. Also cleaned the shower room window that was covered with plaster.
Floor has been skimmed so just got to get the painting done now!!
Anyway hope everyone has a good day today.
Thanks for your good wishes dannie xFootball Widow :footie:
