Just doing a frog - DS's potties are still here and we don't need them now so just sat and sprayed them all with antibacterial spray, photographed them and about to put on Netmums.
Other things for today:
* Sort out duplicate knitting needles ready for CS
* Drop off 2 black bags full of stuff to said CS!

Good Morning Everyone
Firstly Thank you for your kindness about yesterday. I did go but cried from the moment I saw the coffin to the minute I got back in the car. Had put masscare on and no hanky so you can image the look! It was awful, I have no idea where all these feelings came from. Anyway came home and went to bed for a couple of hours. Collected DD from school (with OH for moral support) and then moved the dresser from the lobby into the Conservatory and had a good sort out and tidy up. Always helps to clear my mind.
So a brand new day today.
Work this morning and then DD has a friend coming after school for tea. OH is exhausted so hoping he will take a well deserved day off sick as he has been a pillar of strength for me.

Football Widow - thinking of you on this "new day" following the funeral "frog" yesterday.
My "frogs" have slowed down although a time to tackle "tadpoles". It seems more wintery now so I think attention will be towards preparing for winter. Good luck all.0 -
Hi Football Widow, glad you got through yesterday OK. Sometimes we cry when we least expect it and it's actually really healing - part of the grieving process, even though we may think we're in control sometimes the feelings creep up on us. Glad your OH is being so supportive and hope he has been able to have a quiet day today.
I saw on your list 'cancel MS' - I used to do that too but stopped as I was ending up going all over the place for peanuts, and when you took into account the time I spent looking for work, going through the scenarios etc it just wasn't worth the money for me. I know it suits some; depends what company you're with doesn't it.
Waiting for my ebay items to finish - they've only got about 90 mins to go and got bids on 2 of the 3, whilst the other has 4 watchers so we'll see.
Just listing what I want to do over the next 7 days (not by the end of this week!):
* [STRIKE]Call Catherine re meeting up (tadpole)[/STRIKE] - waiting for her to call me
* [STRIKE]Call Catherine (another one!) re meeting up for prayer cell (tadpole)[/STRIKE] - waiting for her to email me
[STRIKE]* Get present and card for Tiyah (tadpole)
* Get cards for Jay and Ann (tadpole)
[/STRIKE]
So not a lot really but been putting it all off.
Have a good afternoon everyone.
Forgot to say, MUST start my ironing too - why can't I do it every day like I should? It's a huge mound now .... here goes!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Have a spare room which looks as if a bomb has hit  How do I motivate myself to get it sorted? I know it is going to be short term pain, but I open the door, look in and depress myself, so close it again & go make a coffee!

It currently has boxes of books, boxes with Christmas shopping in, loo roll stash from C&C, steam cleaner amongst other things in there. I live alone, so don't even have kids to do it:D
Any motivation will be gratefully received and I promise to never let it get that way again!A smile costs little but creates much

Put a radio on, take the coffee in with you and just get started. 3 piles; one for binning, one for charity shop and one for ebay. Bag the binning up and take it to the tip, and drop the charity shop stuff off on the way and take photos of the ebay stuff later tonight and list it on a free weekend.
I sold loads of books on ebay a few years back and covered all the spending money for a trip to NYC - so have a budget in mind and a use for the cash and use that to motivate you. Or, if you want the space, have an idea in your mind of what you want it for [small office? chill out room with lots of bean bags and a radio? Ironing room? insert your choice here]If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
