301k in debt and morbidly obese - things aren't great!

Massive reorganisation of the downstairs of Bloater Towers and the records are one stage closer to being listed as they've been put into two ugly plastic tubs wedged between the posey red sofa and the TV stand thus giving our minimalist shabby chic family room all the feng shui of a pot noodle. Mrs B is not amused and in retaliation has found another bag of random stuff to be fed to the shed. On the plus side, the kids now have their toy chest back and that in turn means the understairs cupboard now has space to put things in. Like the records maybe.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Don't put the records under the stair - out of sight, out of mind - they will never get listed on eBay if you do that!:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

I've always considered that I've lived a fairly full life, with plenty of highs (witnessing the births of my children, getting married to a beautiful and amazing woman, being the first member of my family to go to University, etc) and lows (seeing my baby boy on a drip and ventilator with a collasped lung, being woken up by an intruder headbutting the hell out of my face, hearing Lionel Richie's "Hello" for the first time, etc) but nothing prepared me for the zone of anger, regret and frustration that a first-time seller on ebay goes through. It's taken about 2 hours of my life to list a paltry 10 items cos I'm a newbie. None of the ebay zealots I know in real-time or MSE land thought to mention that particular hurdle to my plans to list my collection. 10 bloody items!2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

:rotfl::rotfl:all I can say is it does get easier!
Have you got Turbolister? I find it's much easier to do ebay with that, you can do bits whenever you have a spare 10 mins and then upload it all at a time suitable (you probably already know this if you use it so sorry for repeating if you do)

You can't use turbolister and list items for free on a free listing weekend
Try and have items ending at 8-9pm for maximum amount of bidders
If you schedule your listings for say 10pm tonight, (the scheduling costs 6p I think) then at say 8.30pm go in and amend them to list immediately. This won't cost you 6p but you will have them ending at the right time of day.0 -

Come on Mr B. You can't compare that trauma to posting on Ebay. You're probably still suffering from PTSD.

2 hours crikey! It does get easier. Was that including registering and setting up paypal? You should be able to create a template - that makes things a whole lot quicker and I always copy and paste the title for the first line of the description. Keep at it.............think of the money! BTW on non free days use Turbolister. If I have things already to go on there then on a FLD I just copy and paste description into the template in 'sell an item' on Eb*Y. Its just knowing all the quick short cuts - you will get there:)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
