Today's been a total write-off for waistline and bank balance. Mrs B left for Paris at 6am and no matter how much the kids have been bribed with goodies it's not been the same. Have munched thru sausage rolls and Alpen bars and Vimto and topped it off with a visit to the drive-thru and now feel physically sick. Hopefully tomorrow will be better but I just can't see me getting the time to do the ebay listings which are steadily developing into a considerable mental block. And of course that darn pen has gone and disappeared.
  • I'm a firm believer in kick starting the diet by having a binge day every now and again.
If I'm correct in assuming that you won't be running tomorrow whilst your wife is away, why not start putting your stuff on ebay early tomorrow morning.
The pen will turn up when you stop looking for it. Fact!

Pen update: found under the monolithic structure constructed out of everything not nailed down in the lounge by my DS. It's like something out of Poltergeist every time Mrs B is out for the day or evening. Said structure has just been dissembled as she has returned. Must must must do run tomorrow. If I do run tomorrow I can justify not doing ebay listing. It just looks so boring and worthy and I haven't got the postage sorted out and blah blah blah.

4am came and went without any awakenings, as did 5am, and then it was 6. And now DD is up so it's gonna have to be bite the bullet time later when I get a few spare hours (ha!) and I will embark upon the ebaying. My body decided to shed a pound (probably out of sympathy for me) and so that's something positive. This time next week I'll be staring at a screen full of addresses I have to post records to that I have no packaging for. Oh well.

You'll not be on MSE all week, you'll be too busy refreshing your eBay page watching for bids. :p
