Really pleased and enjoy the weekend :j:j:jI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Have been in such a trance that I can't even recall making my last post, and when I was upstairs telling DD a bedtime story I deviated off into talking about textboxes and adding hyperlinks (have been spending way too much time with Office 2010 recently). I am truly humbled and appreciative for all the well wishes today - without going into great detail, a giant ticking timebomb that should have gone off ages ago has kept hanging around for way too long and was finally detonated today. It was always going to explode, it was just a case of how much damage it would do, but I have had the genuine (I believe) support of the big cheese at my place (who does have a reputation for being very trigger-happy) and that has helped a lot. It was a badly planned project from the start, I was guilty of taking on way too much and so it never got the time it deserved. It's just a massive weight off my shoulders to be done with it and I feel I can breathe again. Splurged £7.49 (shudder) on my favourite wine ever and I am enjoying my first glass of it right now but the best part of coming home today was to actually be with my kids.
The surreal running world and the flickering lightbulb moneysaving moments of world of Bloater will resume again tomorrow. Once again, thanks for all the support - really really appreciated.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

The morning has started off well moneysaving-wise, Mrs B has been despatched to Tesco with a clutch of vouchers and looking at the online balances of things, I definitely think this month will see suitable inroads into the debt - we just need to apply the same verve to the moneysaving as to the exercise and we'd be there in doublequick time. Now I know there's not a P45 with my name on it I can start scoping out oppurtunities inhouse, our place has very ambitious expansion plans and I think I need to start riding those waves.
The local oddballs have had another day off from my all-seeing eye, whilst up and ready at 4.30 I decided to ditch the run for today and concentrate on making a start on tidying the house - I got an old friend and his family coming over today - it'll be the first time I've seen him in 15 years - I've come a long way since then (well technically speaking only 50.3 miles according to google maps) - back then I was unemployed, living on cheap cider and tranquilizers, inadvertently dressing like a young farmer and living in rural wierdness.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
