    Pray to St Anthony:

"St Anthony, St Anthony, return that which is mine"

So far on MSE he's found passports and a cat :D.

My mate had to fix the flusher on his loo. The gasket had gone, so he replaced it with a home-made one cut from a pair of rubber gloves.

Sofas have been tipped up and had their underbellies slit - so far I've found 7c (Canadian) and a Batman Top Trump Card. Also broken a picture meaning I had to hoover at 8.45pm which has not endeared me to snoozing kids and wife.

In more virtuous news instead of getting a payday/start of holiday takeaway me and the boy had a nutritious treat of Tesco Value Ravoli (14p) and the remnants of the medium-sliced bread that the sister-in-law had left behind. That must surely get me some brownie points with the yoghurt-knitters? And those of an AF persuasion will I hope be applauding me cos the wife took a swig of one of the San Miguels left by her sister and then realised it was chockfull of gluten, so demanded I finish it. Did I heck? Instead it got poured down the drain. It's not often I get encouraged to drink free alcohol. And it's even less often I say no.

However it is now coming to the end of its natural so am unwillingly having to upgrade next month:(

4.30am saw me trundling around my manor for a much needed 5k. Felt brilliant to be back outside. Would have felt even better if I had had my phone with me to listen to some tunes. Oddly enough it transpires that not only is my phone missing, but also my previous one (which I was planning on putting a PAYG SIM if I can't find my other), and also my aged mp3 player. This truly is the day the music died.

Just popping in to thank St. Anthony: phone found in a cunning crevice way down the back of the sofa in the family room. This was after an early morning onslaught that has led to us having an immaculate lounge, porch and hallway. And thankfully before I embarked on the binraiding.
