Partied hard yesterday night with a cup of tea and another 31 records listed. Am not expecting greatness from this batch of unloved vinyl but it at least means in 60 days time I can hit the relist button.
Due to such hard partying last night I am fresh as a daisy and have no excuse (aside from creaky aching joints, subzero temperatures and the awful state of potholed pavements round here than only somebody even more damn foolish than me would attempt to run on in the dark) for not going out, but instead have been poring over the spreadsheet. It looks tough for the next few months, but that has to be mitigated by the fact that we have finally re-educated ourselves that the credit card balances do not represent our money, merely funds accessible at a high cost.
I think the two/three bottles of wine a week I manage to somehow sneak into the equation have to go - it adds up to the price of the Sky subscription (I can hear the yoghurt-knitters tutting in disgust) and now I'm in a way less posionous job situation I can't really justify needing to 'unwind'. Plus for many reasons it's always been the elephant in the corner of the room so I'll try and see if March can be got through on tea alone.
Can't help wondering though if all this time spent listing stuff on ebay and writing these diary entries could be spent penning some fantastic fiction that would solve the money worries instantly. Oh well, at least doing something (even if it isn't the correct thing) is better than doing nothing.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

It doesn't have to be all or nothing, Mr B. 2-3 bottles of wine each week = 12 a month. If you by a nice bottle and each has a large glassful with your meal, one bottle would last two nights, that's just 4 bottles each month and you won't feel so deprived. :beer:0

Mr B (and any other lurking eBay declutterers) - if you've got anything in your shed that's got height, width and depth ALL over 8cm, get it listed and gone before the Royal Mail price changes come in on 2nd April. The Packet rate is going and being replaced with Small Parcel and Medium Parcel - Medium Parcel rates will start at £5.20 for 2nd class instead of the £2.20 2nd class packet rate :eek::eek: However, after 2nd April you'll be able to send much heavier things 2nd class instead of having to use 1st.

Sorry not sure what point your making?- The small parcels service will have a maximum weight of 2kg and a maximum size of 450mm by 350mm by 80mm. This is likely to be around 71% of all parcel items handled by Royal Mail.
- The medium parcels service will have a maximum weight of 20kg, and maximum dimensions of 610mm by 460mm by 460mm.
- Both small and medium parcels will be available on either First Class (next day) or Second Class (three-day) services. This means the weight limit on Second Class parcels will increase to 20kg. Weight bands will be simplified from 15 into seven bands
1st Class and 2nd Class parcel prices- 1st Class Small Parcels prices start from £3.00
- 2nd Class Small Parcels prices start from £2.60
- 1st Class Medium Parcels prices start from £5.65
- 2nd Class Medium Parcels prices start from £5.20
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

£2.20 parcels will cost £2.60. Or am I missing something?
There are other variables too - parcels that measure up to 16cmx16cmx16cm and cylinders of various length and diameter - thought RM said they where simplifying it :eek:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
