Hi Mr B! Glad to see you're back :D congratulations on the new job, hope all is going well?

Take it easy with the runs, the last thing you want is shin splints, believe me it hurts!

That's an amazing amount of debt you've killed off, good work Mr B! You should be very proud.

Second day at work went even better than the first, but then we had a bit of a reality check last night when looking at the spreadsheet. It's gonna be almost impossible on current income to make any more dents into the debt and in fact it may well start rising again. So I have to start looking for additional income or a better-paid job. Will be interesting to see how much I can get from my 124 listings on eBay this Friday evening. Probably not the grand I need - but getting close to 100 would take some heat off. Think I'll have to put the Adam Ant sun visor back on the listing, surely its time has come!

Mr B can you offer private tutoring as another income stream?
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Just scraped into three figures from last night's eBay marathon and been up since 5.30 doing the resultant packaging. Has cleared some room and Mrs B has also expressed an interest in the cross-trainer being returned upstairs. This is all positive news for the shed. Family Bloater have also been busy baking a cake and doing homemade birthday cards for my Dad who is visiting today. We are being well MSE today.

Obstinacy I think, and good on Mr B for tackling it his own way :T.

Happy cake making and glad 1st week went well.

Looking forward to seeing the resurrection of the visor :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I saw him on November 3rd 1982 in Brighton. Lush. Think I'll come across as a real oldy if I go again now. Sorry to hijacking your thread, Mr B!
