You don't appreciate anything, until you no longer have it.

    That goes for anything.

Custardy I don't like your idea so will pass, thanks all the same :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    as long as they take
I'll time it tonight if you want
however I would say what 90 seconds to do 25 push ups?
so scale that across the board.
however its personal and doesnt matter
you can make one push up last 20 seconds+ if you want a challenge

like I said. time doesnt matter
if it takes longer then so be it
if you need to break it into 5x5 push ups on your knees, then so be it
Its about creating a routine and as such a habit
there comes a point where 25 push ups isnt really much to worry about.

Neatly sidestepping custardy's scary fitness plans I decided to take on board ani26's advice and now more appreciate the wife's bottle of rose as I had it whilst watching the Singapore Grand Prix. Am in an upbeat mood as a potentially very important connection got back to me and basically said he would help out in any way possible if I choose to move into a different field. So fingers crossed the weekend is ending on a positive note. Will try the dorsal fin things tomorrow. Maybe. (ducks to avoid onslaught from angry personal trainer)
