301k in debt and morbidly obese - things aren't great!

Somehow managed to get myself round 2.5k of SE London's finest pavements at 5.15 this morning. Streets were oddly busy with other odd-shaped fortysomething men standing on street corners who I presume were all waiting to be picked up by scaffolding vans unless my area has suddenly turned into a very odd red light area.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Another 2.4k run banked but it was touch-and-go whether I got out of bed this morning to do it. More drowning than waving methinks.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

I am sure I have read somewhere that it takes 2 continuous weeks for a new activity to become a habit. So I guess the thing is to give it two weeks with the running.....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Ducked out of running the last couple of days - but if I am going to be a bit easy of myself then I should admit that traditionally this is one of the most mental weeks of the year for those in my line of work and so the fact that the weight has still been drifting down is good enough for me. No excuses next week though - the Bloater machine has to step up a gear and get those finances tracked as well. The really odd thing about it is that I know it will show a reduction in the total debt and for some reason that gives me less incentive to measure it - there isn't the adrenaline hit / suckerpunch of finding out how much mess you're actually in. Have saved up enough calories today to have a whole bottle of red and still be in credit and so tonight should be a good one - off now to the patio to toast my fellow MSE'rs - here's hoping the sun shines on us all for a couple of days at least.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
