  • Done 5k on a Monday morning which is not something I've often been able to say. Now remember why I traditionally had today as a rest day - being Bin day in my area not only do I have to play dodgems with the wheelie bins that blow into my path, but whenever I set off a security light and frighten the foxes I get a nagging doubt that the residents will open their curtains and think that the black-clad figure trundling away was responsible for ripping open the binliners - and as regular readers know, I'm far from Old Style.

  • Not much to report - the last couple of nights I've managed to sleep for 10 hours which is totally unheard of for me - has meant the running hasn't happened but I'm OK with that - as long as I get out tomorrow. Weight down again a bit as well, and we're almost halfway through the month and haven't yet had to use the evil credit cards so I mustn't grumble.

Nice one on the sleeping. Maybe that means that you aren't as stressed?

  • Things have just hit the skids today - very bad news on the work front - it just might be that I've failed to dodge the bullet for once - and followed up tonight with some bad news on the family front - being a great believer in the fact that a problem shared is a problem compounded I shall be laying low a bit to concentrate all my efforts on damage limitation. I hope to keep up the running and the weight loss and the sensible spending and I hope to return in due course with happier news to report.

On the other hand by not discussing the issues here, you may also miss out on someone having a solution, or option that would be a bit help.

    Just sayin'

Either way I hope both but especially the family stuff has a positive outcome
