Weight gone down again to 23stone 1, getting below the 23stone barrier would be a great psychological boost, and the thought of having to fess up on here that I'd gone above it should be enough to stop me stuffing my face with Oreos. Actually the taste of Oreos is enough to stop me stuffing my face but you get my drift.
Other developments include getting Mrs B to watch 'Extreme Couponing' last night instead of 'Extreme Home Makeover', although both shows do get a bit samey after the while, its certainly an inspiration, and made me take my Co-Op card with me when I went to buy the eggs this morning.
Got an email through saying its free listing weekend on e-bay. Have never sold anything on there before and my experience with musicmagpie means I have a loathing of brown paper, boxes, labels, sellotape, post offices etc - however, just casually browsing on there and plugged in three of my 7" singles, which were on sale for £81, 49 and 39 respectively - checked the completed items box and saw that a copy of the former sold yesterday for 51 so there is (or there was) people out there willing to spend megabucks on old records I'll never play again.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

morning Mr B,
I don't get emails from ebay and can't see anything about it being free listing this weekend. I'm just gonna go for it got quite a few things I would like to sell!
Hopefully you can make a good bit of money on your records!

Yep, its definitely free listing weekend, you're right, Mr B. And my word, I never thought of selling my records on ebay! I sold them in bulk to a local record shop for a tenner - at least I got rid of them all in one go, when I eventually carted them down from the loft
Listing is easy - but join first, as you have to have a paypal account too, and they send you some pennies (literally) to check your bank details. Its a real faff joining, but if you've got stuff to sell that actually goes for that amount, its really worthwhile. You may miss this weekend, if you haven't got a paypal a/c, but free listing comes along every 2 or 3 weekends, so its still worthwhile, don't worry.
Have a good 'un, Mr B.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hello Mr B, yes definitely free listing weekend, I had the same email. As long as your list price is £1 or over.
Well done on the run, how on earth do you leave your bed at that time in the morning??
Have a good money saving day!!!! :T0 -
Mr B am inspired by the early morning rise to fit in some excercise. I know that thats really when i should try and do it - working full time with 2 young children means its really the only time... Also had never thought about all my old vinyl in the loft now as a child of the 80's am not sure that the Showaddywaddy album will go down a storm but there are a few gem tucked in amongst the pop graveyard.CC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K

It may just inspire me to dust off my old records as well- if i can bear to part with them
It will be like trawling through my yoof and i will probably end up buying a new record player..oops.

poor Mr B is still a newbie, you shouldn't be teasing him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Actually, he's really good at teasing himself ... so, on 2nd thoughts - tease away :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
