Any takers for a 'Haynes workshop manual for a 1979-1983 Vuaxhall Carlton"?, or one for a Ford Cortina ?, Or Citreo BX ?. Now, if only I could find-out what that key I have had hanging in the kitchen for the laste 19 years actually fits....

Chuck the key out. You're guaranteed to find out in 48 hours topsA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Bat out of Hell - I had a couple of women give birth to that tune (I was a community midwife - now retired:() and it has such a good beat......I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
DS being on a 3 hour rage last night due to emergent rear molars did for the run this morning, and there hasn't been anything moneysaving or fitness related since then. Apart from some spooky meter that arrived in the post that I'm supposed to wire up to the electric which'll tell me how much we're spending. Definitely have to do some Kindling tonight, definitely have to have a bottle of red (payday today) and definitely have to be out running by five am. Am definitely being somewhat ambitious. On a lighter note, had a lovely day at school today - we managed to teach our Year 10s and 11s as usual and things went pretty smooth, but the quote of the day came from one of my 11s who said "you know what, the teachers that came in today are the teachers that care." - can't wait to relate that one to my colleagues. Was very disappointed that there was no picket line to cross - maybe next time.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Well done Mr B :T:T:T. Mind you, as one of those now supposedly working another year to get a state pension as I will be 5 months too young to retire at 66, I felt like joining them on the strike. If you think I'm working till I'm 67 to pay your MP's pension you can f e c k right off Mr Osborne :mad:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Every so often a little gem like this pops up somewhere. Even for the most cynical of us it is enough to warm the heart.
Must be more than enough confirmation that you made the right decision yesterday big man :AWas in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T

Mr B,
Can I ask a question of you or one of the Bloatees (trying to think of a collective term - Mr B and the Bloatees seemed not bad!)
I am wanting to put my DVD player on Amazon or Ebay. Can someone give me a summary of the key points of what not to do from the last 70 pages. I am thinking particularly of dealing with those who said 'I never received it'.
Ta,
Betti the bloatee.

Hello Mr B, I know you'll be up soon - late for me being not far from early for you - so I thought I'd pop in to say I hope nothing sabotages your running today.Miggy

Gearing myself up for the second (and hopefully final) round of sample delivery to the hospital. Fingers crossed it is as trouble-free as the first time. And neatly sidestepping any questions about running or money I'll go straight on to giving my eBay advice to Butti.
- Search for the same product as yours but check the Completed Items box on the side to find out what, if, anything the product has gone for, and what sort of postage figure you should be charging.
- There are many options you can pick to limit the people who can bid on your item - I personally have blocked the following: those without a credit card on file, those who have had any disputes in the last 12 months, and I only accept PayPal as a payment.
- Send everything Recorded Signed For, then you have a tracking number (and they cannot claim they never recieved it).
- Recieved wisdom seems to be to have your auctions finishing in the evening, but it's made little difference to me.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
