Dropped another pound from yesterday and currently have almost £500 worth of stuff listed on eBay - including my beloved My Bloody Valentine collection - have listed some of them at silly money just to ease the pain if they do sell.
    :T :T :T
Am also not stressed about work, thankfully my performance last week definitely takes any hypothetical sniper sights well off of me, whilst as an organisation we are still categorized as being in special measures, neither me nor any of my team were graded in that bracket.
    More :T :T :T!

    Ellidee, love your sig :).

Butti - Mr B, the suspect... it adds a whole new dimension to the shadowy figure pounding the dark, rain-washed streets!

You see, Mr B, some of us are not only looking forward to the book, we have ALREADY watched the film! :D Unfortunately, due to the entire screening being inside my head, I can't make my fortune from it. ;)

  • Lack of wine is making me grumpy. However, I might have hit paydirt with my latest batch of eBay listings - a helluva lot of watchers are gathering, should have enough stuff to keep me selling well into next year even if I get Mrs B to join up and use up her monthly allowance too. The rancid tequila glowering in the back of the fridge is looking ever more tempting. Wonder if it mixes well with Ribena.

Dont spoil the tequila with ribena. What you need is some salt and some lime and go for the slammers

  • Back from a run, feeling well smug with myself and 2lb lighter than this time yesterday. Almost back to the good old days of early October before the fall where I veered tantalisingly close to breaking into the 21stone category. That would be a seismic shift for me and then it's not a million miles to the hallowed 20stone , and hey, if I ever got down to 16 then I could use the cross-trainer and not having to interrupt canoodling couples at half four in the morning. Canoodling is not exactly the correct word, but they were all huggy kissy and loved up so had probably just had/were going to have a good canoodle, I was planning on running on the grass verge for a bit to give them a wide berth but there was a lot of dog business on there and the last thing I wanted to report back on here was that I'd slipped on some !!!! trying to dodge an amourous couple, so instead I took plan B - just running straight ahead, I hate partaking in the peculiar game of pavement chicken whereby you and the person you are trying to walk past veer first one way then the next and both emit nervous laughs. Anyways, there we were, me and the couple on a collision course and what does the boy do - lets go of her hand and steps aside, leaving me to hurtle through the distance between them. Not that I looked back but even supposing the boy didn't get !!!! on his shoes and the girl forgives him for jettisoning her in the face of an oncoming Bloater, I think this was one instance where love truly is proved to be an astronaut - it'll come back but never the same.
  • LOL! Well done Mr B. How far did you run today? :)

You went for the run! Good for you! Brill at the pavement chicken as well, I try to position myself well ahead so it never happens, but it still does - at the speed you're going (faster than an amble) you can't really do that tho.

  • Mr B especially, as you are doing so well and so early in the morning as well, but any of you other runners out there.....

How do you get motivated to start??? I have had until recently a horse my whole life more or less, and am a tiny 5ft2 so any weight I put on it noticible, especially being as I am atm a size 8, but i just can't get myself in gear to do anything else, (i even have a treadmill in the house, hangs head in shame)

Please help me get going, just don't know where to start, other than installing a cardboard dino in the corner to scare me into running????
