    Sold at wrong price, correct

Refund at 2:99 incorrect, they do not return the full amount, so why does the full amount need to be signed for

    Sold at 1:00 correct

I have explained in other posts - you clearly don't get it so I won't try any more.

But for one last effort.... they refund you £2.99 and you have handed the Coco Pops back. You then buy them again out of your £2.99 and you leave with £1.99. But to keep things simple and stop a game of pass the Coco Pops box, they will carry out two transactions and consolidate them by giving you back £1.99 and letting you keep the Coco Pops apart from when they need to scan the box.

All very interesting but does not explain to me why the full amount needs to be signed for

If that was the case there would be no need for a refund. You really should read what you are posting as it is giving the impression that you are not the sharpest tool in the box.

Clearly I did read what I posted, otherwise it would not have needed editing

I meant every post you had made in this thread. I was not able to tell the future whilst I was replying to a post that you were yet to edit.

By editing, you just deleted an event that had actually happened and was the answer to your question.

If you still don't get it then you are past help.

You are the one who is desperate to explain something you obviously seem to understand, however, without ever getting close to managing it.

I have asked the retailer and can only hope they are not more interested in being rude than they are in answering the question

As previous post - past help.

I try not to bother with the bloody co-op, hugely expensive compared to other supermarkets. I pity those that cannot make it to anywhere else....

I like the East of England Co-op because it's very local to me, the staff are nice, it has a decent range and occasionally they have some decent offers.

I must agree with a lot of people on this thread though. I have to check my receipts meticulously every time I shop there because chances are point-of-sale prices haven't been updated for new special offers or the shelf edge labels are out of date. At best it's unprofessional, at worst I would call it thorough dishonesty.
