I had 3 Taxotere and 3 FEC first time with avastin.
Taxotere was worse than FEC for me. Horrendous sickness and bone pain from the neulasta injections to fire up my bone marrow.
I was hospitalised 2 weeks in because the chemo sickness and morphine sickness had spiraled out of control. They had me in for 4 days on a pump to get it stabalised. My hair all fell out over that period as well. That was my definite "get a gun and shoot me" time.
This lot will seemingly kill my red cells as well as the white. I don't think this is going to be pleasant. But needs must. I want to see SB go to Uni, get a job and have the tribe of small children he's threatening me with.

surprised she's given you taxotere again as I didn't think they repeat the same chemos again...your last time sounds horrendous but guess she knows what shes doing

It's such a battle trying to get treatment in a timely fashion isn't it? Is it all down to budgets?

Lost it last time on Taxotere after about 2/3 weeks. Other one also causes hair lose.
