there are companies which do it, but I don't know the costs. Healthcare at home being one. And you'd need to be very careful about dividing your care between NHS and private...
Depending on the outcome it might be worth raising it your MSP, there's been issues raised about radiotherapy at Raigmore, might be you could get some help that way, for you and for others in the same position.x x x0 -
they are at full capacity.. hence waiting times, cancellations .. forgetting about patients (my husband included) is unfortunately becoming the norm. Very frightening...
I'd been on the waiting list for Dermatology for a condition related to my Crohn's ... eventually got the appt and was waiting when I was admitted to hospital. My DM phoned & explained & they said a new appt would be sent out ....... it's for November this year:eek: that's a full year since the one that had to be cancelled!
Slightly worrying as it's probably this secondary condition that set off my Crohn's flare & looks like I'm not going to get any treatment for it anytime soon!:(Onco is also consultant at our local private hospital. Wonder if I'd have to wait a month if I visited her there?
*sigh* most of them are .... I guess at least they are still working for the NHS for some of their time & I don't blame them for wanting / needing to make extra money but ....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
